The proponent who claims, "Even if not seen, it exists," you, like this, besides the numerous livestock, who else could have the face to say such a thing, and be unable to say it? Because you are harmed by the sign of not being visibly available. How so? As for the fodder and the five elements, etc., as the subject, how can you both have a hundred elephants and consciousness exist, and not exist? Even if you distinguish a hundred times, if any nature of the hundred elephants and consciousness exists, then the nature that becomes visible was previously invisible. Third, if there is no samsara, there will be too great a fault, which is divided into two: it is not necessarily produced with attachment, etc., and it is not necessarily occasionally produced with attachment, etc. The first is divided into two: pointing out too great a fault, and eliminating the uncertain pervasion. The first is: as the subject, the ordinary person, immediately after being born, is not necessarily produced with attachment, etc., because you and attachment, etc., are of the same kind, and are not newly produced from a previously non-existent production. The second is divided into two: eliminating uncertainty from the perspective of cause, and eliminating uncertainty from the perspective of example. The first is divided into three: if it arises from the nature of the elements, there will be too great a fault; if there is a difference in the elements, there may be no attachment; refuting other answers that prove the absence of attachment. The first is: if all sentient beings are the subject, they are accompanied by attachment, etc., because the direct cause of attachment, etc., does not exceed the nature of the elements, then all sentient beings are the subject, the size of attachment will become the same, because the direct cause of attachment, the elements, exists without difference. The second is: if the sign is not established, because there is a difference in the size of the elements, so attachment, etc., arises in size, then the beings born from the elements will have the difference of merely beings, and very beings and extremely very beings, because there is a difference in the size of the elements, so attachment has a difference in size. Even if there is no such difference, as the subject, the ordinary person, whatever element is in your continuum, due to the reason of having excellence and decline, eventually the elements will be cut off, just like attachment, you had it before, but in some of your later distinctions, it will not exist.

Because arising is the basis for the differences in increase and decrease of attachment in your continuum. The third part is divided into two: refuting the absence of severance of attachment from the perspective of cause, and refuting the absence of severance of attachment from the perspective of example. The first part is, if it is said that the arising of the elements has increase and decrease, so attachment and so on also have differences in increase and decrease, but ordinary sentient beings, attachment will not completely disappear, because the cause of attachment and so on, the elements of the same nature, will not disappear. Then, for all sentient beings, the size of attachment and so on should also be the same. Because the cause of generating the same nature of attachment and so on, is merely the elements, existing without difference. This is pervasive, because from the nature of the cow that is completely the same as the cause, the consciousness with the cow as the object, there will be no difference in thinking this is a cow, this is a very cow, this is an extremely cow. Or, just as the materialists believe that sentient beings arise from the elements, in this case, for the sentient beings arising from the elements, the order of differences such as sentient beings, extremely sentient beings, etc., does not exist in some cases. The second part is, fire has differences in the order of cold and hot tactile sensations, but there will be no fire that has no heat at all, similarly, here also, although the arising of the elements has increase and decrease, so attachment and so on also have differences in increase and decrease, but it is impossible for attachment to completely disappear, so the pervasiveness of changing from existence to non-existence is uncertain. If you say so, there is no fault, because our reason has the difference of "having increase and decrease with other things", so it does not include fire and heat. Like this, heat, as a phenomenon, is not increasing and decreasing from the increase and decrease of fire in the form of being other than fire, because from you, fire being other has been negated by valid cognition. Therefore, attachment and so on, as a phenomenon, you may have severance on the elements, because in the form of being other than the elements, you are increasing and decreasing from the increase and decrease of the elements. This is pervasive, any quality, a quality that exists outside of the thing possessing the quality, those qualities that have the order of differences of increase and decrease from the thing possessing the quality, the later differences of the thing possessing the quality, will be severed in some cases. For example, the later differences of the elements from the qualities of white and so on that are other than the elements will be severed in some cases.
