Thus, the cause of the departed and the teacher is explained from the offering praise of the Sutra section. In the offering praise of the Sutra section, it says that it is for the first arising from the Sugata and protector who have accomplished the benefit of themselves and others. Third, there are two ways in which the Sugata arises from that: showing that the perfection of abandonment is the Sugata, and refuting the dispute of not having the perfection of abandonment. The former has two: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The former is, the Sanskrit word for Sugata is Sugata (Sanskrit Devanagari: सुगत, Sanskrit Romanization: Sugata, Chinese literal meaning: Well Gone), Su (Sanskrit Devanagari: सु, Sanskrit Romanization: Su, Chinese literal meaning: Well) refers to good, etc., and Gata (Sanskrit Devanagari: गत, Sanskrit Romanization: Gata, Chinese literal meaning: Gone) refers to abandonment, thus, seeing selflessness, practicing for a long time, thereby abandoning the cause of suffering, habitual tendencies and their accompanying abandonment, that abandonment, Dharma nature, is the Sugata, because it is the abandonment with three qualities. The latter has three: abandoning well, abandoning without returning, abandoning without remainder. The former is, the Buddha's abandonment, Dharma nature, is abandoning well, because it is the abandonment that does not belong to the basis of contaminated suffering. This proves transcendence over non-Buddhists, because that abandonment is abandoned from directly seeing selflessness or practicing its means. The second is, the Buddha's abandonment, Dharma nature, is abandoning without returning, because it is the abandonment of abandoning the seed of self-view. This proves transcendence over Hinayana students, because Hinayana students, for the truth of the suffering of birth, old age, sickness and death, and the origin of faults such as greed, even if abandoned once, will return again, as it is said. What is the cause of that abandonment? The wisdom of realizing selflessness, Dharma nature, is the cause of abandoning without returning, because the object aspect is truth, that is, not inverted, and the self-grasping and the way of grasping are different, that is, contradictory, and the nature of the mind, that is, becoming the nature itself. The third is, the Buddha's abandonment, Dharma nature, is abandoning without remainder, because in various ways, with many means, practicing for a long time, thereby abandoning the habitual tendencies of afflictions. This proves transcendence over Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas Arhats, because they do not have the cause of afflictions, nor the fruit of the disease of suffering, but the three vehicles

Because when explaining the path, there are inherent obscurities, and the negative habits of the body manifest as jumping like a monkey when going for alms, and the negative habits of speech manifest as saying things like "the masses," and the negative habits of the mind manifest as sometimes not being able to abide equally, possessing states of mind like those that are unpredicted. The second part has two points: debate and response. The first point is: Some royal reckoners say: Shakyamuni is the subject, is not one who has exhausted faults, because he speaks, and because he is a person, etc. The second part has two points: showing that the proof is excessive, refuting by examining the meaning of what is to be proven. The first point is: speech, etc., this is the subject, there is confusion in establishing that Shakyamuni is not one who has exhausted faults, because in establishing it that way, there is doubt about the reverse. The second point is: If you vow that faults cannot be exhausted, then is the reason for establishing it because it is permanent? Or because there is no method to abandon it? Or because even if there is a method, it is not known? If you think about it in this way, then all three reasons are not established, the reasons in order are: because you have a cause, the antidote to your cause, through habituation, your cause will be exhausted, and by knowing the nature of your cause, it is also established that you know the antidote to the cause. Fourth, the way in which protection arises from this is: The Bhagavan is the subject, is the protector spoken of in the praise of offerings in the sutras, because by unerringly speaking of the path that he himself has seen and experienced, he protects sentient beings from suffering. How does he speak unerringly? The Bhagavan is the subject, he does not lie, that is, he does not speak of the path in a reversed way, because there is no result in speaking it, that is, there is no need. If you think that because he has no compassion he speaks in a reversed way, then, the Bhagavan is the subject, he does not speak in a reversed way because he has no compassion, because he has great compassion, because all the actions of body, speech, and mind are for the sake of others, and he has repeatedly practiced them for countless eons. Fifth, therefore, it is established that there is proof: The Bhagavan is the subject, you are a valid person.
