Because the wisdom of detachment, etc., is the root that clarifies the distinctions of the other subsequent ones. Third, explaining the example that is reasonable from one's own side: If there is no example of love, etc., not growing infinitely, then how can there be an example of infinite growth? Answer: There is an example of one who, through the habituation of love, becomes the nature of love, desiring to protect sentient beings from suffering, just as detachment, attachment, and aversion, i.e., the unpleasant, arise naturally when cultivated. Second, there are four ways in which a teacher arises from this: the way in which love guides the teacher, the way in which the teacher's object and aspect are purified, the way in which the habituation of the object and aspect is shown as the teacher, and thus thought and action become the cause. First, if it is said that the accomplisher is compassion, then how does it become the way of being an accomplisher? Answer: In general, it is mistaken to accomplish the result only from the cause, but there are also those in which the result arises spontaneously simply by the existence of that cause, just as if there is craving, the heap of suffering arises spontaneously. Therefore, if there is compassion that arises spontaneously, then the latter three, such as the teacher, arise spontaneously, so it becomes an accomplisher, as it is said, the loving one, in order to destroy the suffering of others, engages in the means, i.e., the paths, that are in accordance with the pacification of his own suffering, because he desires to truly explain to others the means of pacifying suffering. There is pervasion, because it is difficult to truly explain to others the means of pacifying suffering that arises from the means, and the cause of that, the means, is hidden from oneself without being truly understood. Second, there are three: examining the cause and nature of what is to be abandoned, examining the antidote for destroying that cause, and explaining the abandonment and realization established by examination. First, when it is established by experiencing suffering, the loving one who examines the cause of that with scripture and reason, with the distinction of the occasional arising of the nature of suffering itself, knows that there is a cause of suffering that can destroy the suffering of the result by abandoning what, and that the cause is independent, and the nature of the characteristics of actions, etc., because he desires to destroy the suffering of the result. There is pervasion, because why.

Then, if the previous cause of suffering exists, the fruit of suffering piling up like mountains will not be seen. Secondly, compassionate one, you are examining the opposite of the cause of suffering, because you want to destroy the cause of suffering. After examining in this way, compassionate one, the opposite of the cause of suffering will also necessarily appear, because you have realized the essence of the cause of suffering. Just as knowing the disease, one can recognize the medicine. Thirdly, then, what is the cause of suffering and its antidote? Caused by clinging to self and what belongs to self, attachment with the five aggregates as its object, that is, craving, compassionate one, is the main cause of suffering, because it independently generates suffering. The wisdom that sees selflessness, compassionate one, is the damaging antidote to the cause of suffering, because it has the same object as the clinging to self, the cause of suffering, but the manner of clinging is opposite. Thirdly, the method of pacifying suffering, that is, the path, which is seeing selflessness, practicing this in many ways, many times, that is, continuously for a long time, compassionate one, you will produce from it the teacher of the time of fruition, because from you, the causes and effects of samsara to be abandoned, and the antidote, the view of selflessness, in order, how many faults and merits there are, will become very clear. Because all the faults and merits of samsara and nirvana are clear, therefore, Blessed One, you have abandoned the cause of suffering, the habitual tendencies of afflictions, the nature of being unusable by body, speech, and mind, because your mind has also reached the ultimate of clarity. Therefore, the great sage, the Buddha who naturally engages in benefiting others, compassionate one, is more superior than the rhinoceros-like solitary Buddhas, and the Shravakas, etc., because you have abandoned the habitual tendencies of afflictions, and know all the faults and merits of samsara and nirvana. The method of familiarizing oneself with the previous practice, compassionate one, I think this is what is taught as the teacher in the offering praise of the Sutra, because guiding others on the path is the meaning of its cause. Fourth, the intention to benefit beings, and the teacher of the method of familiarizing oneself with practice, these two, compassionate one,
