The love that arises in the basis of the body is the subject. It is not the self-view associated with sentient beings, because there are no opposing factors such as hatred, and it follows the previous habituation of compassion. Therefore, it is the nature of the real dharma of the mind. Furthermore, the one free from attachment is the subject. Will it become attached, because there is compassion? The love of the one free from attachment is the subject. It is not attachment, because there is no inverted clinging to the object, but only awareness of the stream of suffering of others, and therefore you will arise. This is pervasive. Because for the aggregates of dharma that are not of the nature of permanence, pleasure, self, and self, clinging to permanence, etc., arises from the nature of that object. Furthermore, the one free from attachment is the subject. If harm is done to the object of love, anger will arise, because there is love? The one free from attachment is the subject. It is not the proximate cause, that is, anger arises from harming the object of love, because ignorance is the fault, the root of hatred, etc. And this is also clinging to sentient beings, because it does not exist. Therefore, the love of the one free from attachment is the subject. It is considered to be without the fault of hatred, because it does not arise from the cause of ignorance. The third part has two: refuting the dispute about the dwelling place with karma, and refuting the dispute about the dwelling place with love. The first part is: If the one free from attachment has a body thrown by karma, then it will become not liberated from samsara. The one free from attachment who dwells by karma is the subject. That is not not liberated from samsara, because the power of the previous karma that manifests the aggregates of this life has been exhausted, the body has receded, and there is no desire, so it will not connect with another existence. Any one free from attachment who dwells in samsara is the subject. Even if the power of the karma of action has not been exhausted, it will not be bound by samsara, because there is no fault of samsara. The second part is: Furthermore, why does the one free from attachment not dwell long for the benefit of sentient beings with compassion? Such as Hearers and Solitary Realizers are the subject. For the benefit of sentient beings, there is no great effort to dwell long, because compassion is inferior. Those Great Vehicle Noble Ones are the subject. For the sake of the benefit of other sentient beings, they always abide.

Because of having great compassion that constantly abides for the benefit of others. Second, refuting the absence of rebirth in the first noble path. If the view of the perishable collection is the cause of existence, then, the first path of the noble path, the path of seeing, should become non-existent, because it is free from the view of the perishable collection. If it is said: Constant diligence, because there is no view of the perishable collection, is not the cause of rebirth, it is not, because although the imputed view of the perishable collection is abandoned, the co-emergent one is not abandoned. If it is abandoned, then constant diligence, how can there be rebirth? It should become non-existent, because the co-emergent view of the perishable collection is abandoned. Why is the co-emergent view of the perishable collection not abandoned? Constant diligence, it is not abandoned, because there is a desire to be happy or not to be miserable. It is universally established, because at that time, whatever mind thinks "I" is the co-emergent view of sentient beings. Also, constant diligence, because you want happiness, you should not run for it, because you have abandoned the co-emergent view of the perishable collection. It is universally established, because without seeing "I", no one is attached to me. Without craving for me, you will not run for happiness. Fourth, refuting that liberation from bondage is done by me, there are two: refuting the author of the permanent self, refuting the author of the inexpressible. First, sentient beings, there is a self of the bound and the liberated, because I am bound by the suffering of samsara and liberated from it. Just as Devadatta is bound by iron chains and liberated from them. If it is said: Permanent self, from where will there be bondage? It should become non-existent, because it is not the cause of suffering. It is universally established, because bondage by suffering is the cause of the arising of suffering. Also, permanent self, from where will there be liberation from suffering? It should become non-existent, because it is not the cause of the cessation of suffering. It is universally established, because liberation from suffering is not the cause of the cessation of suffering. Why is it not the cause of these two? Whatever I am is not the cause of any suffering, etc., because it is the inexpressible impermanence. Second, the Sthavira school.
