Because it is not meant to become something special. If one considers the gradual wisdom, even if the body is permanent, wisdom will gradually arise, so there is no fault. If you say so, the body is the subject, and its order should also be clearly manifested, that is, it becomes an order with before and after. Because considering the gradual wisdom, it is the cause of generating gradual mind. If you admit, the one with a body is the subject, the previous moment of your body and mind, each moment is the cause of the latter moment that did not exist before. Because your body and mind are a continuous stream with before and after order. If you admit, the one with a body is the subject, the former body and mind is the cause of the latter body and mind, then at all times, even in the last moment of your death, it should appear. Because your former body and mind is the cause of the latter body and mind. If you admit, then the next life is established. Second, explaining in detail that there is no contradiction in connection, there are three points: the sign of the dying mind is uncertain, its similar example lacks dharma, refuting the argument that it does not lack. The first point is, the Lokayata says, the mind of the ordinary person's last moment of death is the subject, it will not connect with the consciousness of the next life, because it is the dying mind. Just like the dying mind of an Arhat. If you say so, the mind of the last moment of death is the subject, your argument that the mind of the ordinary person's last moment of death will not connect with the consciousness of the next life is incorrect, because you connect with other minds, what is the contradiction with the valid cognition? Because there is none. The second point is, whatever the dying mind of an Arhat is, it is also the subject, your similar example that the mind of the ordinary person's last moment of death will not connect with the consciousness of the next life is incorrect, because from which valid cognition do you think there is no connection? Because there is no established valid cognition. The third point is divided into two points: refuting what is established by the Buddhist scriptures, refuting what is established by the Lokayata's own reason. The first point is, if the Buddhist says, it is famous from your school, so it is used as an example, the Lokayata is the subject, it should not be thought that the dying mind of an Arhat has no connection from the Buddhist school. Because what Buddhist school is not a valid cognition school? Is it following the school that shows the meaning that is not established by valid cognition?

Therefore, in order to follow the caste system. Here, the god Śākya says that the mind of an Arhat at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life, which is in terms of the ultimate truth, while in terms of the conventional truth, it does produce. Although the sun and others have also said the opposite view. However, in order to show the inherent contradiction in the promise to the Lokāyata, it is merely asking what is the reason why the mind of an Arhat at the time of death is not connected, rather than thinking that it is connected in one's own sect. The second part has four points: stating the view and answering the question; elaborating on the reasoning of refutation; refuting the erroneous arguments in it; elucidating the conclusion established by refutation. The first point is: if the mind of an Arhat at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life, because the cause of that mind is separated from the body, then, why is that cause separated from the body itself as a dharma not said when proving that the last mind of an ordinary person at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life? It should be said, because there is reason to say that it is the probans of the example. If admitted, then the pervasion is uncertain, what can the mind at the time of death do? It is meaningless. The second part has six points: refuting that the body itself is the direct cause of consciousness; refuting that body and mind are cause and effect with co-emergent conditions; refuting that the support and the supported are not producers; refuting that body and mind are cause and effect with other reasoning; refuting that consciousness is the nature of the body; refuting that consciousness is produced by relying on the body. The first part has three points: refuting that it is a direct cause by examining it; merely being a cause cannot eliminate it; if it is a direct cause, then there is too much fault. The first point is: if it is said that the "cause separated from the body" as a sign is the probans of not producing the mind of the next life in both the example and the argument, then, if consciousness arises from the body, does it arise from the body with roots or from the body without roots? For the time being, consciousness is not directly produced from the body with roots, if it is produced, then consciousness as a dharma should hold form clearly like the consciousness of the eye, because it is the other knowing consciousness directly produced from the root of the eye. The remaining roots are also analogized in the same way, thus refuting that it arises from each root, then does it arise from the collection of the five roots? The five roots as a dharma, from your collection, one consciousness is not directly produced, because it is its own self-effect.
