It is so. Secondly, if it is said that form, etc., newly arise from arising, but must exist in arising, just as attachment, etc., are also like that, so the fault of saying that what was not there before arises in arising is not certain? Attachment, etc., are dharmas. Like form, etc., you are not necessarily present in arising, because form, etc., are inseparable and indistinguishable from arising, but you can be separated from arising. If it is said that form, etc., are inseparable from arising, is it also the same for attachment, etc.? Form, etc., are dharmas. Your being inseparable from arising is not the same as attachment, etc. If they are the same, then attachment, etc., and arising dharmas should arise together at all times, because they are inseparable things, then it becomes a fault. If it is said that attachment, etc., depend on external objective conditions to arise, but sometimes do not arise? Attachment, etc., are dharmas. The object of external perception is also not necessarily what makes you arise sometimes, because even if you have no external object, you arise by falsely establishing yourself as an object through your own discrimination. Secondly, the fault that the arising of attachment, etc., is sometimes uncertain is that attachment, etc., are dharmas. For some people, there is no certainty of arising, because it is without cause, that is, because there is no cause of the same kind. If it is said that arising is the real cause, then all mental dharmas such as desire, etc., should arise in all people at all times, because for all people, the real cause of that arising is always near. The sign has been accepted. Secondly, there are four ways to establish the nature of impermanence, etc., namely, establishing impermanence, suffering, selflessness, and emptiness. First, the nature of the truth of suffering, the aggregates of grasping, are dharmas, are impermanent, because they are sometimes the object of attention. Second, the aggregates of grasping are dharmas, are suffering, because they are the basis of the faults of self and attachment to self, as well as birth, old age, sickness, death, etc., and also because they are dominated by others due to attachment. Third, the aggregates of grasping are dharmas.

It is not self, because it does not agree with the nature of self, because it is impermanent, multiple, and controlled by others. The fourth is: the aggregates of clinging are not the "mine" blessed by the self, because I am not the one who blesses you, because I am not your cause, because I am permanent. It is pervasive: how can a permanent thing be a cause of producing effects? It is not. Self, you cannot produce many effects at different times, i.e., sequentially, from one permanent thing, because a permanent thing does not produce effects. Furthermore, self and other permanent things cannot be the cause of suffering, etc., even if other causes of suffering, etc., gather, because without you, suffering, etc., cease, which is not something you possess. It is pervasive: because even if other causes of some effects gather, the effect cannot be produced due to the lack of a certain dharma, therefore, other causes can be inferred from that gathering, otherwise it is impossible. Second, establishing that suffering has a cause, and explaining the truth of the origin of suffering: Here, with the followers of the ornament, the remaining three truths are also divided into four types, and the gods explain the three aspects of the cause of the origin of suffering, the cessation of the truth of cessation, and the path of the truth of the path, thus establishing the remaining three aspects. There are two ways of explaining this. According to the latter explanation, there are three: establishing that suffering has a cause, refuting the conception of the cause as something else, and showing that the main factor of the cause is craving. The first is divided into two: establishing the existence of a cause by occasional arising, and refuting the proof of the absence of a cause. The first is: this suffering dharma is established as having a cause, because it arises occasionally. It is pervasive: if there is no cause, it will either always exist or never exist, it will not be occasional, because it is pervasive, if there is no cause, it does not need to depend on other conditions. The second is: some people, that is, those who claim that nature is the cause, say: just as the sharpness of thorns, etc., has no cause, these sufferings will arise without cause. This is what is strongly asserted. It is unreasonable.
