If it is said that because it is the most minute particle, it is the same as the particle when the previous gross object was not formed, then there are two aspects to the second case: the characteristic of an undifferentiated subtle particle cannot be established. If it is established, then it is the same for the views of others. The first case: the body and so on are the subject. Although you are a particle, it is not established that you are the same and undifferentiated from the previous particle that is beyond the senses, because the previous particle came into contact with other particles, and from this your state arose, so you are different from the previous one. The distinctive particles, such as the body and so on, are the subject. Although you are actually a particle, the term "particle" is not used, because although you are a particle, you are its object by generating an image in sensory consciousness. This is stated in the auto-commentary of the Tsema-rikter (Rigs gter rang 'grel): Although mental direct perception is valid cognition, it does not obtain the name of valid cognition because it cannot draw certainty from itself, just as the object of sensory consciousness is the most minute particle, but because it does not appear there, it is not regarded as an object. Nowadays, most people think that the particle is not the object of sensory consciousness, which means that they have not turned their minds to the Sautrāntika tenets explained in the Seven Treatises. The Sautrāntikas assert that the partlessness of particles and the partlessness of moments of consciousness are truly existent. And they consider that the direct perception of meaning-consciousness and self-awareness that grasp them are not mistaken. They consider all gross objects and continuums to be conventional truths, and they consider the conceptual thoughts that grasp them to be mistaken. Therefore, since many particles do not compose a single gross substance, the gross object that has become other than the particles does not exist in reality. Sensory consciousness does not apprehend it, but the many particles that are in contact with each other are apprehended by sensory consciousness, because they are the generators of images in sensory consciousness. The statement that particles are not apprehended by sensory consciousness refers to independent particles that are not in contact with each other, and this is the unerring intention of the Sutras and the Commentary on Valid Cognition. Therefore, in this system, there are three causal sequences in the sensory consciousness's apprehension of external objects: the cause that generates the image, the image generated by it, and the object of the ascertainment consciousness led by it. The first is the distinctive particles that are in contact with each other. The second is the gross image that appears in sensory consciousness at its own time.

Third, for subsequent conceptualizations, the refutation of clinging to the appearance of appearing as one entity as an external object. First, it is an external object, second, it is not coarse because it is the nature of the sense consciousness itself, and third, it is clinging to being coarse. Although the creator of the appearance is a subtle particle, the Mind-Only school says to the Sutra school, "By what means do those subtle particles make it appear so coarse?" because of the reason that it appears as a coarse appearance to the sense consciousness. This is also the key to showing the contradiction in the acceptance. Here, although in Jamyang Shaypa's commentary, there is no Buddhist tenet that asserts self-characterized matter other than subtle particles. Even if one does not pay attention to merely explaining the tenets of any of the seven treatises, the Tibetan logicians who claim to be experts in the seven treatises agree without discussion and unanimously reject the name of the possessor of parts that is different from the parts. Subtle particles cannot be apprehended by sense consciousness and cannot obstruct, but the coarse self-characterized entity created by them and different from them exists in reality. It can obstruct and can be apprehended by sense consciousness, and although it cannot be understood from the weight of the ultimate subtle particles, the true weight of the coarse entity created by it can be measured by scales, just as the Vaisheshika school asserts the form and weight of the possessor of parts. He said, "The Buddhas of the three times and their retinues have shown me compassion and freed me from this burden of ignorance, I am very grateful." For this, the scholars of today should examine it carefully. However, at this time, the appearance of coarse and not confusing coarse are very important. Showing that these two signs are not established refutes the consequences of arguing that the body and so on do not have obstruction and so on based on these two signs, because it shows that the body and so on are born with the ability to obstruct due to the combination with other previous subtle particles. Second, how do things like mercury, gold, and heat appear to the sense consciousness? That is, they do not appear. Because there is no single substance with parts, it is not many subtle particles. The collection of sense faculties and mental activity, etc.,
