It should be known that all universals are real universals when refuting sectarian views. Second, explaining from the perspective of the non-real exclusion sound: Because the real has its own nature, there may be a question: Will the sound consciousness of the object be affected by the real? But the non-real, as a dharma, the sound you express is not to express that your nature is real, because you have no nature. Therefore, the sound of non-real, as a dharma, is proved to be used to distinguish or exclude different kinds of objects, because the words of expression cannot be affected by the real and act on the object. As it is said in the "Treasure of Reasoning": "The real is made by cause, and does not need to depend on the non-real. The non-real is not born of cause, and the real is blocked and established in the mind." This shows that if it is real, it must be established that its nature is true, so the sound consciousness of the object acts by exclusion; if it is non-real, it must be exclusion, which is the key to exclusion and is indispensable. Second, the classification of the basis of proof is divided into two types: difference and dependence. The pure refute the argument. First, then, what is the nature of the reason that must be determined, which is related to the nature of the proposition mentioned earlier? In order to establish the proposition, such as sound is impermanent, the nature of the reason said, as a dharma, you have two kinds: because you have the self-image of the appearance in the mind, and the difference depending on the appearance of other differential dharmas in the mind, or the uniqueness of non-dependence. The first, for example, to establish that sound is destructive, the cause is established as the result, the made, or the living. The second, for example, establishing existence itself and reality as the cause. The second part is divided into two parts: debate and answer. The first part is: The Samkhya says, if the nature of existence can be used as the cause of establishing impermanence, etc., then why can't existence be used as the proposition of establishing the existence of self? Because it is also existence, if it can establish the existence of self, if the dharma is established by quantity
