The same applies to the generalities of exclusion. If a single clear aspect of the generalities of exclusion is destroyed, then all remaining clear aspects will become without generality. If it is not destroyed, then the generalities and particulars will become distinct entities. If this is the case, then here, for the generalities of exclusion, there are two things: taking what is present in all clear aspects in the face of exclusion, which is different from what is not, as exclusion, and naming the image of conceptualization as the excluder with the name of exclusion. From the first case, the exclusion of difference is the subject. If a single clear aspect is destroyed, then it is not reasonable to examine whether you are an entity that exists or does not exist in meaning, because you have no self-nature. From the second case, the general mind that conceives many things as one is also the subject. If a single clear aspect is destroyed, then there is no refutation by means of saying whether you are an entity that exists or does not exist in meaning, because the external clear aspect that appears to you is a false illusion, and it is an entity that knows that it is not one with the external clear aspect and entity. This has the same meaning as what was said: "Not different from consciousness, how can it follow other meanings?" Here, Tibetans take the real self-character as exclusion, the non-affirming negation of difference from what is not as exclusion, and the image of conceptualization, the actual object expressed by sound, as exclusion. From the first case, it is supplemented by saying that clear aspects and arising and ceasing exist simultaneously. From the second case, it is the first two lines. From the third case, it is the last two lines, that is, the general mind is the subject. If a single clear aspect of the generalities you have fabricated is destroyed, then it is not possible to refute it by examining whether it exists or not, because it is false, so the generalities you have fabricated are not true. Explaining it in this way is because the words of the old men are taken as the standard, so the intention of the scripture is not understood. First, supplementing is also unnecessary, and the exclusion of difference by difference is pervaded by non-affirming negation, which has already been prevented in the general meaning. The third case is applying the general mind to the fabricated generalities, which is no different from the phrase "difference is without self-nature." The third is that water and fertilizer, etc., are the subject. How do you produce sprouts, and how do you not produce them, because the producer of the sprouts is the seed.

If it is said, because its essence is different from others, it is not pervasive. Because it has already been said that the differences of distinct natures, such as water and fertilizer, are themselves the cause of sprouting. If it is said that because these differences do not have distinct natures, there is also a common main factor, so the production of one sprout is not caused by the differences. That nature alone does not produce that sprout, because it has already been said that the accompanying auxiliary cause would become a meaningless fault in the production of the sprout. Therefore, seeds and other dharmas are distinct, because they are of distinct natures. For non-deluded wisdom, appearance is also the mutual nature, that is, appearing separately without relying on others. The word "འང་" gathers, gathering that production and destruction are also distinct. Therefore, the differences of seeds and so on themselves exist in the ultimate truth, the difference is different from others, the difference is said to be the cause of production and the effect of what is produced, the difference is considered to be its own characteristic, and the difference is also the object entered by all beings who seek meaning, because if one takes and abandons it, results will occur. The common main factor is not like this, so it is not the cause of producing results. Fourth, even if there are no distinct differences, all barley seeds and so on are not the accomplisher of all rice sprouts and so on. Even if there are no distinct differences, due to the nature of things, only some rice seeds and so on can become the authors of some rice sprouts and so on, while barley sprouts and so on are not its authors. For example, according to your own view of the Samkhya school, even if all things do not have distinct natures and there is no difference, all causes are not the accomplisher of all effects, and it is the same. Fifth, even if all things do not have distinct natures and are one, the barley seed and the rice seed, as the sole author and non-author of the rice sprout, will have contradictions in two separate parts, because they are the same substance. If it is said that the barley seed, not having the function of producing the rice sprout, is not contradictory, because there is a temporary difference from the rice seed. The accompanying auxiliary causes water, fertilizer, and other dharmas
