Because the fault of permanence has been eliminated, because those with abilities are impermanent. There is no permanence in ability. It is sufficient to translate by reciting this. Second, there are three refutations of the pervasive proof: showing the error of the uncreated reason, also showing the fault of contradictory reason, and refuting the non-erroneous proof. First, what is called uncreated, instigated by a man's attachment, etc., is the subject. Because you are the sole cause of generating knowledge of the meaning as it is, you are not a proof. If you are, then because you only generate the meaning as it is, you are not pervasive. If it is not established, then the man's fault is that the uncreated by the man without the fault of being instigated by attachment, etc., is the subject. If you are, then because you are only the cause of generating non-erroneous knowledge, you are not pervasive. Because you are the cause of non-erroneous knowledge such as firelight and moonlight, but in other ways you are seen to cause error, that is, respectively, at night seeing a blue lotus as red, and the cause of seeing yellow as white. Second, the Vedas are the subject. They do not become the cause of knowledge of meaning, because they are the accepted non-created constant dharma. Pervasive, because no ability of things arises from constant dharmas. If so, then is not the conception of holding space arising from the constant space? Some conceptions of holding space, arising from the habit of the previous conceptual thought of the self-cause, and being the object of imputed objects, are the subject. They will arise from the habit of the previous thought, but they are not the object taken by space, because if they were, they would arise constantly. Third, there are two: stating the assertion, refuting it. First, if the uncreated by a man is that the subsequent occurrence of proving the Vedas to have true meaning does not exist, but because there is inverse pervasion, it is a correct reason, that is also because on the words of the Vedas uncreated by a man, because the opposite of the pervasive man-made, therefore the opposite meaning of the pervasive opposite, it is established to have true meaning, because from the opposite of the cause uncreated by a man, the dharma to be established has true meaning.

Because it pervades things that have the meaning of returning, because all returning speech is seen as being made by humans. If you think so, then the second point has three aspects: Because there is no establisher, there is no return. The determination of the three modes is necessary for the sign. If there is a return, then concomitance is established. The first point is: That which is not made by humans is the subject. There will be doubt that it exists in things that have the meaning of returning in the dissimilar side, because even if a reason is not shown in order to prove that it does not exist there, it is because there is nothing to show. Not established, things that have the meaning of returning are the subject. It is impossible for the two contradictions of made by humans and not made by humans to exist on one thing, because you are the same subject. If you think that because this subject is seen in one contradiction, it cannot be determined that this subject does not exist in the other five contradictions, because it is also seen that one impermanence pervades the contradictory things of arising from effort and not arising. If it is established that something does not exist simply because the dissimilar side is not observed, then for all things that can and cannot appear, the subject. It cannot be established that something does not exist simply because it is not observed, because it has already been said above that not observing the subject does not prove that the subject does not exist. Therefore, that which is not made by humans is the subject. There is doubt as to whether it returns from its own dissimilar side, therefore the return pervasion is not established. Because the non-existence of one's own dissimilar side is not established, it is uncertain. The second point is: If there is doubt about the return pervasion, then the establisher must not be correct. If concomitance and return exist on the subject of the dharma to be established, then these three aspects of the mode are the result of certainty, because it is established by the valid cognition that is the cause, so that alone is the correct establisher. The third point is: The Vedas are the subject. You, in order to prove that it is something that has a true meaning, the reason, not made by humans, etc., are all established as concomitant on the similar side, because you, in order to prove that it is something that has a true meaning, the reason, not made by humans, is certainly returning from the dissimilar side. The pervasion is: In any place, the dissimilar side of the dharma to be established, something that has a true meaning, is something that has the meaning of returning, the very statement of return is the similar side of this dharma of the reason, not made by humans, for something that has a true meaning is con
