The sound that always establishes the sign, dharma, and meaning as one, the three impermanent things that are made exist in different reverse forms, what momentary difference on the sound is understood by the name of dharma impermanence, it is not possible to understand by a name other than that, therefore, the other two should also be inferred. Here, denying that permanent mother and child etc. are other things that arise after the impermanence of what is made, and establishing them as one entity, in this way, the distinction between sign and dharma will become unreasonable. As a response to this, the way of arguing to exclude others that can tolerate different reverse forms is explained, rather than establishing that the essence of what is made is the same and the reverse forms are different and independent of each other. Some people say that the meaning of one entity related is that the essence is the same and the reverse forms are different, so the first verse establishes the same essence, and from "because of what" onwards, it establishes the different reverse forms, which seems good, but does not understand the intention of the scripture. The second part has five points: entering by excluding the sign and inference, entering by excluding the subsequent determination, when entering by excluding, the sound can accept others, when entering by establishing, it is not acceptable, refuting the view that it is acceptable even when entering by establishing. The first part has three points: recording the way of establishing entering by excluding, if entering by establishing, it is too absolute, summarizing and showing the established meaning of both. The first part has three points: not entering because of seeing the self-characteristic, entering to eliminate the increase, showing the verses that summarize both. The first point is: if entering by excluding the inference based on sound and sign, then what is its way of establishing? Because it is to eliminate the increase that has already been seen through direct perception, what has already been seen through direct perception, such as the self-nature impermanence of sound etc. and the hearing of one entity, what is seen through direct perception, as the subject of dharma. For other parts not seen through direct perception, what should be examined by inference and other measures? Because all the dharmas that are easy to establish and have the same essence are seen simultaneously through direct perception. The second point is: then, how does inference enter after that? The holding of sound direct perception, as the subject of dharma. After you see the impermanence of sound, the inference of realizing the impermanence of sound

Because it is necessary, if other similarities arise, etc., due to the reason of always having illusions, if other constant attributes of sound are not combined, then after you, there is no need to introduce inference to understand the impermanence of sound, but just like seeing similarity to a white object and mistaking a shell for silver, due to the appearance of other similarities, etc., there is the illusion that sound is constant, so in order to eliminate this illusion, after you, it is necessary to introduce inference to understand the impermanence of sound. Third, because of that reason, as the sign and inference of proving the impermanence of sound, the dharma is introduced by eliminating, because by directly seeing the object of sound, all attributes such as impermanence can be seen, that is, they exist, so it is not necessary to introduce it in order to see it, but due to the reason of illusion, it cannot be determined that sound is impermanent, so in order to determine this, you are introduced. This verse is a summary verse. Second, not only through direct perception, but also through inference, if grasping by proving the object of sound, then the dharma of inference understanding the impermanence of sound, the attributes of sound, such as being made, etc., should all be grasped. Because by proving one attribute of sound, impermanence, it can be determined. If admitted, then other valid cognitions will not be introduced. If it is said that you will also be like that, then for inference introduced by eliminating, as the dharma, if inference grasps one impermanence, then the fault of grasping all attributes will not be established here, because inference is introduced in order to eliminate falsehood. Third, if introducing by proving has faults, and if introducing by eliminating has no faults, therefore, as previously stated, inference based on signs is declared to be the object of elimination. Otherwise, if introducing by proving, then as the dharma, sound and the like, as the dharma, after you are seen by direct perception, it is impossible for you yourself to introduce the sign and inference of proving impermanence, because if you have already been proven by direct perception, then what other impermanent essence do you have besides direct perception? Because there is none. Some apply this to sudden inference, which contradicts the summary verse in the self-commentary. Second, if inference eliminates introduction by eliminating falsehood
