Because, self-destruction depends on the later cause arising from its own cause, and needs to depend on other meanings. If it is dependent, then it pervades uncertainty, for example, becoming colored, depending on the color of the clothes, is uncertain for being colored. Furthermore, the impermanence of Dharma is the subject to be established. It becomes different from what is made, because it is the later cause arising from the cause of what is made, having the reason of another cause, that is, becoming the result. If admitted, then is impermanence the cause or the result of what is made? If it is the former, then impermanence is the subject to be established. It is not the cause of what is made, because it is later arising from what is made. If it is the latter, then impermanence is the subject to be established. Where is the certainty that the sign of what is made establishes you on some basis? It is uncertain, because you are even the result of what is made. Fourth, elaborating on the nature of the two determiners, there are two: applying to the sign that directly establishes the connection; applying to the sign that negates the reverse connection. The first is divided into three: for the sign of the result, explaining the determination of cause and effect; for the nature of permanence, explaining the determination of one self; due to the connection, determining the establishing sign as two. The first is divided into three: explaining the valid measure of determining cause and effect; refuting the confusion of the result with the cause; summarizing and explaining the way of not being confused. First, smoke is the subject to be established. Not being confused with fire itself is not recognized, because merely seeing that there is fire, and not seeing that there is no fire, apart from this, not being confused with fire is not recognized. If you think so, then it is not pervasive, smoke is the subject to be established. It can be called the result of fire, because it follows the benefit of fire in existence and non-existence. It is pervasive, because following the benefit of its own cause in existence and non-existence, this is the general Dharma of the result, that is, the definition. The second is divided into two: refuting by being too extreme; refuting by examining separately. First, the grammarian says that the results are all confused with their own causes in going and coming, because the smoke of the fire's result also arises from the head of Indra who has no fire, if you think so, then smoke is the subject to be established. It transcends having a cause, that is, it becomes without a cause, because without its own cause, you exist. If you admit, then smoke is the subject to be established. It becomes either always existing or always non-existing, that is, not occasional, because it does not depend on other conditions, that is, it is without a cause.

Therefore. The former has pervasion, because things sometimes arise, and they all arise depending on causes and conditions. Second, if the head of Indra is of the nature of fire, or not? If it is, then smoke should not arise from the head of Indra without fire, because the head of Indra itself is fire. If according to the latter, then how can smoke arise from the head of Indra, it should not arise, because the head of Indra is not of the nature of fire. The pervasion is, only those with fire, which have the nature of the cause of smoke, possess the specific ability to generate smoke, while those without fire do not possess it. Furthermore, smoke is the subject, it should become causeless, because it is smoke arising from what is not the cause of smoke. Third, the nature of smoke is the subject, it should not arise from the head of Indra, which is of a different kind from fire, because that is the cause of fire, that is, the reason for the result, because from the concomitance and contraposition of fire, you see that you are the one who accompanies and contradicts any fire. This verse is a summarizing verse. The second has three: establishing the identity relationship of what is to be established, explaining the differences of the base of determination, and explaining the independent reason for establishing. The first has two: establishing that self-nature does not arise without it, and eliminating the difference between the subject and the sign. First, if it is said that the relationship of arising from that is established for the result sign, then what kind of non-arising is there for the self-nature sign? Although it has been said before that it is related to the mere existence of self-nature, some argue that one aspect of the meaning of the commitment becomes a sign. In order to eliminate this, it is intended to explain the treatises that show the exclusion of others, and it is repeated that, just as establishing sound as impermanent with the property of being made, for the self-nature sign, it is also the subject, and the relationship of non-arising without it is established, because the sign itself merely exists and is spontaneously related to the dharma to be established. Therefore, the made, which has the nature of impermanence, is the subject, and if impermanence does not exist, then you will not exist, because impermanence and self-nature are not different, but are one. Second, then the made
