Therefore, in order to indicate the places of acceptance and rejection, the preceding and subsequent words have a connection; in order to be able to accomplish what is necessary, to indicate the method that is in accordance with the accomplishment of what is necessary; in order to be not useless, but to state the meaning of what is necessary that is close to the individual (Sanskrit: pudgala), therefore, it is necessary to fully examine whether the speech possesses these three characteristics, and to act according to it, and not according to anything other than these three characteristics, because of this reason. Secondly, for the visible manifest things and the meaning of the invisible hidden things, there is a subject. When you indicate these things, there is no harm from both the manifest and the self-powered inference, which is "trustworthy words are not deceptive." The meaning of non-deception in this sentence is that when you indicate, taking the absence of harm from the two valid cognitions as a reason, it must be established that this teaching is not deceptive in the extremely hidden place. Here, some people divide the invisible into two types, hidden and extremely hidden, in order to compensate for the harmlessness of their own words; others divide the visible into two types, manifest and hidden, and then say that for the invisible, among the two inferences, the inference based on the teachings has no harm, these have not grasped the meaning of the occasion, because it is necessary to determine that the measure of harm is two types, and "from the general aspect" and "the 'non-deception' here" etc. have not been able to function; establishing non-deception in the extremely hidden place with the reason of non-deception in the three places to be measured is because what can be established is the same as what is to be established. Thirdly, the teacher's treatise does not say that trustworthy words themselves are inference, but that trustworthy words with three characteristics are not deceptive for the manifest and hidden, from the general aspect determined by the self-powered valid cognition, relying on that teaching to realize the extremely hidden wisdom, there is a subject. Even if this object is extremely hidden, it is said to be inference, because for the continuum of the seer, the valid cognition that realizes the extremely hidden, any self-power of the continuum of the seer has no opportunity to enter the extremely hidden. So, what is the reason why it is possible to infer from the general aspect? Trustworthy words, there is a subject. After not deceiving other extremely hidden places

it is possible to infer, because it is the meaning of the hidden subject. Because it does not deceive about the Four Noble Truths, what you should take is the cessation truth, and what you should abandon is the truth of suffering, as well as the origin of the path, as it is shown, thoroughly determined by the valid means of direct perception. The former ones are connected here with "or", explained as the category of the former, using thorough determination as the cause, connecting the words "has been shown", for the extremely subtle meaning, the wisdom is coarse, that is, the former determines the characteristic basis of inference, and then shows how to infer from the general characteristic, and if thoroughly determining the Four Noble Truths needs to be the cause of showing the Four Noble Truths, then it contradicts the belief that there is no definite understanding on the ground of the Buddha. The second part is divided into two parts: stating the claim, explaining the refutation. The first part is: relying on the excellent individual who possesses the qualities of seeing the meaning as it is and whose faults have been exhausted, that is, the words spoken by him have the meaning as it is, and other rational people know it through other means, so it is possible to establish the meaning of what is said from that, if you think so. The second part is divided into two parts: there is no excellent individual in others, and the excellent individual is established in oneself. The first part is: if it is possible to know that the excellent individual is like that, then it is reasonable to admit that his words have a true meaning, but ordinary people have the characteristic that it is difficult to know whether the other person is an excellent individual as it is, because it is difficult to obtain the valid means that have objects related to the faults or lack of faults of others, this is known by other Buddhists. The second part is divided into three parts: showing that it is possible to abandon faults, showing that after abandoning, it will not return again, eliminating the dispute over the cause of faults. The first part is: then is it impossible for an individual whose faults have been exhausted to exist at all? Attachment and so on, all phenomena have the characteristic of having the antidote of realizing selflessness, which is contrary to themselves, because if the realization of selflessness increases, then you will decrease, and if the realization of selflessness decreases, then you will rely greatly, therefore, some individuals have the characteristic that all defilements of samsara will be exhausted, because that realization of selflessness for a long time
