If so, the made phenomenon would become impermanent, because the two are not different in nature. If asserted, then the made becomes the subject of the proposition establishing sound as impermanent, is it because it has been established as a part of the proposition? Answer: There are two answers to this: explaining the exclusion of other objects through the distinction of sound; and explaining the exclusion of non-objects through sound. The first has two aspects: establishing that it operates through the exclusion of the object; and establishing that it is solely the exclusion of the real object. The first has three aspects: both sound and distinction operate through exclusion; specifically explaining the way sound operates; and showing that both operate on the general. The first has two aspects: explaining separately; and explaining jointly. The first has two aspects: the distinction of sound that differentiates one operates through exclusion; and the distinction of sound that gathers differences into one operates through exclusion. The first has three aspects: on the object of exclusion, both subject and property can be established; explaining the proof that operates through the exclusion of sound distinction; and refuting the debate that speaks after examining reversion. The first, although the property of the self-nature mark and the self-nature are not different, it does not become a part of the proposition, because the reversion differences of property, meaning, and dharma are different. How so? Like all phenomena of self-characterized objects such as sound, are subjects of dharma, relying on many reversions that revert from objects of the same class and objects of different and dissimilar classes, for what reason? Because without falsely imputing, by nature not mixing with others, abiding in their own essence. This reason shows that many reversions are also distinguished by unerring wisdom of exclusion of others, and the words "all objects" show that all objects can be distinguished into many reversions, therefore the meaning is that sound is the subject of dharma, reverting from objects of the same class that are not sound and objects of different classes that are unmade and permanent, with that reason, sound is the class of made and impermanent, and many reversions can be distinguished, because it abides in the essence of sound. This shows that class and reversion are the same meaning. The difference that sound can distinguish into many reversions, is the subject of dharma, which makes it possible to realize that sound is impermanent from the made mark, and is well established, because on one sound alone, on the aspect of exclusion, the three of mark, property, and meaning can be established, showing that on one essence, many different reversions can be established, therefore the made mark.

Regarding the proof of impermanence through sound, if as a sign, dharma, and meaning, the three of sound's "made" and "impermanence" exist in distinct ways, then which momentary difference upon sound is understood by the name "dharma, impermanence"? That cannot be understood by another name, therefore, the other two also apply. Here, the womb, mother and child, etc., negate the other things that arise later from what is made impermanent, and establish it as one self-nature. If so, the distinction between sign and dharma becomes unreasonable. As a response to "the distinction is unreasonable," this is explaining the way of stating the exclusion of others that can allow for difference, not establishing that "made" and "impermanence" are the same entity and that difference is separate and independent of each other. Some say that the meaning of a single entity connection is the same entity and different aspects, therefore the first verse establishes the same entity, and from "because of what" onwards establishes different aspects. Although this sounds good, it does not understand the intention of the treatise. The second part has five points: entering by eliminating signs and inferences; entering by eliminating subsequent ascertainment; when entering by eliminating, the "other" of sound is reasonable; when entering by establishing, that is unreasonable; refuting that even entering by establishing is reasonable. The first part has three points: recording the proof of entering by eliminating; if entering by establishing, it would be too broad; summarizing and showing the established meaning of both. The first part has three points: not entering because of seeing the self-character; entering in order to eliminate superimpositions; showing the verse that summarizes both. The first point is: if entering by eliminating inferences that rely on sound and signs, then what is its proof? Because it is entering in order to eliminate superimpositions on what has already been seen through direct perception. Among these, what has already been seen through direct perception refers to the self-nature of things like sound, impermanence, etc., and the nature of oneness, what is seen by auditory direct perception, as the subject. For the other parts not seen by direct perception, what is there to examine through inferential valid cognition? There is nothing, because all phenomena that are easy to establish and have the same entity are seen simultaneously through direct perception. The second point is: then, after that, how does inference enter? The direct perception of holding sound, as the subject. After you see the impermanence of sound, understanding it as the impermanence of sound
