Having uncertainty, i.e., the common undecided, and the antidotes to the corresponding true remainder and uncommon undecided, in order are: পক্ষཆོས(藏文,梵文天城体,pakṣadharmatā,方面法), following, and counter-pervasion. Therefore, all three modes of reasoning must be determined by the power of valid cognition, because it is said in the Compendium of Topics: "Whatever is fully established on both is establishment." Both refer to the basis of debate and the similar side, and fully established refers to certainty. Some also say that it was said by Dignāga. The second part has three: refutation because of contradiction with one's own school's scriptures, refutation because of common factual power and reasoning, and refutation because of contradiction with the commitments of other schools. The first part has six: counter-pervasion is not what is said, it is unreasonable; the remainder is confused, it is unreasonable; having life is knowable, it is unreasonable; doubt is a sign, it is unreasonable; hearing causes both to be excluded, it is unreasonable; preventing touch is reasoning, it is unreasonable. The first is: like the teacher Lord of Power and others, the opposite is established merely by not seeing in the dissimilar side, and the teacher himself also thinks so. Then, in the "Door of Reasoning," for the antidotes of those with confused uncertainty, it is necessary to state to the refuter the reasoning of establishing counter-pervasion on the dissimilar example, what is that? Subject, it is meaningless, it is unreasonable. If it is said that merely not seeing the sign on the dissimilar side is the fruit of recognition or has necessity, then that necessity will be recognized even if you do not say it. If you admit, then in the "Door of Reasoning," for the antidotes of contradiction and uncertainty, both should be stated temporarily, this contradicts the statement "this is reasoning." If it is said that even if one recognizes merely by not seeing, it must be said in order to determine that there is no dissimilar side, then if one does not recognize that there is no merely by not seeing, then even through the words of establishing counter-pervasion on the dissimilar example, i.e., "the sign is not on the dissimilar side," the subject, from you, this sign cannot be determined to be only absent on the dissimilar side, it is unreasonable. Because you only state that the sign is not seen on the dissimilar side, but do not state the reasoning of absence. If you say that it will be the same for you, then if, like stating the words of establishing counter-pervasion on the dissimilar example, at that time, subject, you sign

Recognizing that "it does not exist in the dissimilar side." If the reason that the sign does not exist in the dissimilar side is stated, that is, the reason and the dharma nature have a self-nature relationship, then the statement of the proof statement is without fault. The meaning of "stating dissimilar dharma" is that if the "statement of dissimilar dharma" is explained as the statement that the sign does not exist in the dissimilar side, it must be admitted that it can be understood from this statement that the sign does not exist in the similar side, which contradicts the previous and subsequent arguments that prohibit understanding the meaning from the statement, and it should also be understood from the speech that it cannot become the antidote for the deluded. Second, if merely not seeing the sign on the dissimilar side can determine the reverse, that is, it can be certainly established that it does not exist on the dissimilar side, then the following is also a presupposition. For example, using the sign that the shape is similar to a ripe fruit to prove that the remaining fruit is not ripe is a dharma that has a remainder. If so, then it is a deluded reverse pervasion, if not, it is because it can be established merely by not seeing the sign on the dissimilar side. If admitted, it contradicts what the teacher said, "Because the shape and so on are similar, the taste and so on must also be similar, which is not reasonable." Third, the rationalist thinks that merely not seeing both sides can be arbitrarily determined as having a reverse sign, such as life, etc., which is also a dharma. If it is said that using it to prove that the living body has a self, it can become a correct reason, because it establishes the dharma to be proven, and it is only seen on the dissimilar side. If admitted, it contradicts what the teacher said, "It is the same as audible sound and specious reason." Fourth, the sign that hesitates whether it exists or not on the dissimilar side is a dharma. If it is combined with the reason that is not established due to hesitation about the dharma nature, and it is said that it has the fault that the reverse pervasion is not established, it is unreasonable, because it is only not seen on the dissimilar side. If admitted, it contradicts what the teacher said, "It is necessary to determine the dharma of both the opponent and the rebuttal." Similarly, for whether it exists or not on the similar side, etc., it should also be stated according to the situation. Its meaning is that just as the dharma nature is not established, hesitated, and the foundation is not established by both or either of the opponent and the rebuttal is a basic fault, the establishment of the dharma nature is the foundation.
