The sutra I spoke of is, if so, then the proof that contradicts ignorance and views is not, because ignorance is one-sided and the view of the perishable is also one of its sides, so it is corresponding, this is to be explained here. Third, then, what is the antidote that completely cuts off faults? The path of seeing emptiness in the aggregates as self, if so, is contrary to the nature of self-view, and all the faults such as attachment that arise from it, so it is their antidote, because you and self-view, the way of grasping is directly contradictory, and you enter the reality of the object. Third, faults, etc., if so, even if the antidote is practiced, it will not be exhausted, because it is the nature of sentient beings. Just like the color of colored objects, the heat of fire, etc. will not be exhausted, if you say so, faults, etc., if so, because you are the nature of the mind, so it is not that it will not be exhausted, because your nature of the mind is not established, because when the antidote of realizing selflessness is connected with the mind stream, you can also see the cessation of your manifest operation. If, like gold, etc., is melted by fire, the part where the fire goes out will become hard again, if the fault is removed once, it will recur when it is separated from the antidote, if you say so, after practicing selflessness, the mind stream where the fault is completely stopped, if so, like the hardness of gold, because it is separated from the antidote, the fault will not arise again, because it becomes the nature of the antidote of realizing selflessness, so it will not be separated from the antidote, and just like leaving the fire, the ashes will not turn into wood, leaving the antidote, its removal of the antidote will not necessarily recur. Second, there are three arguments for establishing the antidote: showing that realizing selflessness is the antidote to self-view, showing that realizing selflessness is the antidote to craving, and there is no other antidote to karma and body besides that. The first has three: showing that self-view is the root of samsara, establishing the argument that it is the root, so it is advised to uproot the root. First, why does realizing selflessness become the antidote to samsara? Because the root of samsara is self-view, and it is directly contradictory to its way of grasping. Why is it the root?

The view of self is established as the root of samsara. If someone sees the aggregates as self, then they will constantly cling and be attached to that self, and as long as there is manifest attachment to the self, then that attached one will wander in samsara. Because, from clinging to the self, craving for happiness will arise, and from that craving, the faults of things belonging to the self will be obscured, and seeing virtues, through completely craving things belonging to the self, the grasping of "mine" will become firm. Therefore, one takes the cause of accomplishing the happiness of the self. The second part has three points: Showing that the view of self is the root of faults; if there is a view of self, there will be no detachment; if it is not detachment, then one will wander in samsara. The first point is: The view of self is the root of all faults. If someone has a grasping of self, then from that, towards others, with the thought of others, from the aspect of self, they grasp, that is, attachment; from the aspect of others, anger arises, and because of being completely connected with these attachment and anger, all faults such as jealousy and miserliness will arise. The second part has two points: The view of self generates both attachment; there is no other way to abandon both. The first point is: The one who grasps at self, wanting to be detached from things belonging to the self, has the quality of not being separated from attachment to things belonging to the self, because they are necessarily attached to the self. The reason is established, the one who grasps at self, has the quality of not having a cause for being separated from attachment to the self, because they take the self as a faultless object of virtue. The second point has two points: There is no other way to abandon attachment to the self; there is no other way to abandon attachment to things belonging to the self. The first point has three points: Just knowing faults cannot remove the object of clinging; just knowing faults cannot repel the real cause; revealing the contradiction of the promise to just knowing the faults themselves. The first point is: If even though one sees the self as faultless, one sees attachment to the self as faulty, then, what will happen after seeing the fault? If one says that attachment to the self will be abandoned, then, the person who sees attachment to the self as faulty, has the quality of not being able to abandon attachment to the self, because the object of clinging of this attachment to the self, that is, the self as virtuous, has not been refuted, that is, because one sees the self as virtuous. Pervasive: Attachment to the self is the virtue of the self.
