O discriminating and loving being! Because of the particularity of abandoning something that can destroy the result—suffering, there exists a cause of suffering, and that cause is not permanent, but rather understands the nature of phenomena such as karma. Because of wanting to destroy the result—suffering. This is pervasive. Because, if the cause of suffering remains as before, then the result—suffering will not be seen to be eliminated. Second, O loving being! It is to examine the opposite of the cause of suffering, because one wants to destroy the cause of suffering. When examined in this way, O loving being! The opposite of the cause of suffering will also definitely appear, because one wants to understand the nature of the cause of suffering. Just as knowing the disease allows one to recognize the medicine. Third, then, what is the cause of suffering and its antidote? Attachment, which is produced by grasping at self and what belongs to self, and which has the five aggregates as its object, that is, craving, is the main cause of suffering, because it independently produces suffering. The wisdom that sees selflessness is the damaging antidote to the cause of suffering, because the object of the cause of suffering, self-grasping, and selflessness is the same, but the way of grasping is contradictory. Third, the means of pacifying suffering, that is, the path—seeing selflessness, when practiced in many ways, repeatedly, continuously, and for a long time, O loving being! You will become a teacher of the path from cause to effect, because from you, the cause and effect of samsara that should be abandoned, and the antidote—seeing selflessness, will become very clear in terms of how many faults and qualities there are in sequence. Because all the faults and qualities of samsara and nirvana are clear, therefore, O Bhagavan! You have abandoned the cause of suffering—the habitual tendencies of the afflictions, the nature of being unusable by body, speech, and mind, because the mind has also reached the ultimate clarity. Therefore, the great teacher, the Buddha who naturally engages in benefiting others, is more superior than the rhinoceros-like solitary Buddhas, and the Shravakas, etc., because he has abandoned everything including the habitual tendencies of the afflictions.

Because I know all the faults and merits of samsara and nirvana. That which has been accustomed to skillful means before, as a subject, I think it is said to be a teacher in the offering praise of the Sutra, because it is the cause of pointing the way for others. Fourthly, these two, the intention to benefit sentient beings and the teacher who is accustomed to skillful means in action, as subjects, are said in the offering praise of the Sutra to be the cause of the Sugata and the teacher, because in the offering praise of the Sutra, the Sugata and the protector who accomplish the benefit of themselves and others appear first. There are two ways in which the Sugata arises from the third (teacher): Declaring the perfection of abandonment as the Sugata, and refuting the argument that there is no perfection of abandonment. The former is divided into two: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The former is, the Sanskrit word for Sugata is Sugata (藏文:སུ་ག་ཏ་,梵文天城体:सुगत,梵文罗马拟音:Sugata,汉语字面意思:善逝), where "Su (藏文:སུ་,梵文天城体:सु,梵文罗马拟音:Su,汉语字面意思:善)" means good, etc., and "Gata (藏文:ག་ཏ་,梵文天城体:गत,梵文罗马拟音:Gata,汉语字面意思:逝)" means abandonment, if it is understood as the abandonment of the cause of suffering, habitual tendencies and their sleep, from the long-term habituation of seeing selflessness, then this abandonment, as a subject, is the Sugata itself, because it is the abandonment with three qualities. The second has three: abandoning well, abandoning without returning, and abandoning without remainder. The first is, the Buddha's abandonment, as a subject, is abandoning well, because it is the abandonment that is not the basis of suffering with defilements. This proves that it is more superior than the outsiders, because this abandonment is abandoned from directly seeing selflessness or practicing its means. The second is, the Buddha's abandonment, as a subject, is abandoning without returning, because it is the abandonment of abandoning the seed of self-view. This proves that it is more superior than the Hearers of the Lesser Vehicle, because for the Hearers of the Lesser Vehicle, birth is the truth of suffering, and faults such as desire are the origin, even if they are abandoned once, it is said that they will return again. So, what is the cause of this abandonment? The wisdom that realizes selflessness, as a subject, is the cause of abandoning without returning, because the object and aspect are the truth, that is, not inverted, and different from self-grasping and the way of grasping, that is, contradictory, and the nature of the mind, that is, becoming the nature itself. The third
