It is said to be mistaken to generate destruction, because it is not certain to generate destruction. Because the destruction of a vase is merely the cause of the lineage. It pervades: because it is merely the cause, there is no certainty that the result exists. Second: A vase, as the subject, its destruction does not depend on causes other than its own cause, because the cause of its destruction, that is, the cause that arises after its own cause, has no ability to produce its destruction, whether it is a real object or a non-real object that has already been destroyed. Moreover, the word "moreover" explains that it does not produce the non-real object of destruction that has already been destroyed, although the previous ones have been explained, but the text clearly states that it summarizes the previous reasoning. Third: The visible vase, etc., as the subject, its own nature will be destroyed, because the nature of destruction that does not depend on causes other than its own cause is born. Second: For the visible vase, etc., whatever is called that its own nature will be destroyed, and the created things other than that, as the subject, its own nature will be destroyed, because there is no difference in the birth of destruction that does not depend on causes other than its own cause. Third, due to the connection, it is determined as two valid reasons. Because it is determined as two connections, therefore, the result reason and the nature reason, as the subject, the established dharma is a real object, and all the inferences that take the valid reason as the object of proof, you are determined as two types, because you are only from those two reasons, becoming the result and nature of your own established dharma, therefore it is certain to be related to your own established dharma. Second, applying the inverse relation to the refuting reason has three aspects: First, the way of negating the object to be negated by non-apprehension. Second, the way of negating the object to be negated by non-apprehension. Third, dividing into two types of non-apprehension to eliminate disputes. The first has two aspects: Negating the certainty of existence is a valid cognition. Establishing the certainty of non-existence is not a valid cognition. First: If the relationship of cause and effect and identity is established for the two valid reasons, then how is the relationship established for the dharma of the refuting reason? The reason for non-apprehension of non-appearance is that by negating the cause of the name, the result of the name is negated, therefore, through the inverse of such a arising relationship, the relationship of the dharma of this reason is also established. Thus, if the nature of that dharma cannot be apprehended by valid cognition, then that dharma must exist.

The term "exists" is not used, because the term "that dharma exists" is used because that dharma is preceded by a mind that apprehends it. Thus, it is established that the non-apprehension of a part by a valid cognition is the subject. To negate the term "a part exists" on some basis, it is said that a valid cognition is the means of proof, because the three characteristics can be complete in negating the term "a part exists" on some basis. The former is the same as negating existence here, and the term "both are the same" is used, and both are applied to the sign of negation, according to the Pramāṇavārttika. This contradicts applying it only to the reason of non-apprehension of the invisible. Secondly, some things are unrelated to the meaning to be expressed in the context of the treatise, and some things, although existing beyond the senses, cannot be observed like direct perception, and those parts that do not have the sign of proof are the subject. Since it is not apprehended by the valid cognition of the person who has become a part, how can it be established as necessarily non-existent? It cannot be established, because even if you exist, it is not pervasive that you are apprehended by the valid cognition of that person. Therefore, the valid cognition of the continuum of a person who has become a meat-eater is the subject. It will not become a valid cognition that is applied to whether a meat-eater exists or not, because it is not the result of a determination that determines whether a meat-eater exists or not. In the autocommentary, it says: Because valid cognitions are the result of determination. Lha: For this, even if only the nature that is differentiated by aspects such as impermanence is taken, it is not a determination, because it is the nature of having decided the nature of confusion. Moreover, from the point of view of non-determination, it is the same as not having taken what is seen, and thus, for these, this is a valid cognition. Otherwise, it is not, because a valid cognition is the cause of having the result of entering. Sham: Even direct perception, when taking all aspects, is a valid cognition for those that are determined by the object of entering. Kashi: For the meaning of non-attachment, non-deception is not a valid cognition, because it is too extreme. Like this, direct perception has no difference, and what is the fault, whatever is the aspect of completely taking, and only generates conceptualization within, is considered direct perception, for what arises
