In explaining the differences, there are three types of differences: whether sound can express the referent or not, whether the general characteristic and the base are the same or not, and whether the reason for the general characteristic is valid or not. The first is: "When sound is the agent of exclusion." etc. The second is: "One thing is not the expresser." etc. The third is: "In order to fully show its result." etc. to show. It is also unreasonable to explain it this way, because the phrase "Therefore, having the object of other exclusion." etc. is the conclusion of both sound and conceptualization, and not just to show the way sound is used. And, "Because the nature of things is unique." etc., mainly after distinguishing between the same entity and different entities of general manifestation, it is argued that the general characteristic is not real. And, "For things, these are impossible." Up to this sentence, it shows the way the object-dependent sound and conceptualization are used, so it must be separated separately. Some people think that "Because the nature of things is unique." Up to this sentence, it is a refutation of the debate on the statement that the general characteristic is not real in the previous treatise. This explanation is also unreasonable, because the first six verses have already shown the reasoning for arguing that the general characteristic is not real, and the refutation will appear later. Second, there are four actual meanings: analyzing the reality of the general characteristic and then negating it, excluding the similarities of the exclusion, the general characteristic is not real but the same sound is reasonable, and refuting the debate of those who argue for the reality of the general characteristic. The first is: "One thing is not the expresser." "Not appearing in the mind" etc., and "For things, these are impossible." This is unreasonable, because the general characteristic is real and it is the actual referent of the expressing sound. If you think so, then is the entity of the general manifestation the same or different? If it is the former, then the general characteristic and the manifestation, as the subject, in nature or form, from what does it appear in the mind? It should not appear. Because the nature of things is unique. The pervasiveness is because it has been promised that sound and conceptualization are used through establishment. Also, the white yak, as the subject, is it both a forward and non-forward for the black dwarf? Because it is the same as the general characteristic and entity of the cow, and it is both the white yak. It cannot be thought of in this way, because one white yak is not the same object of action of the forward and non-forward of the black dwarf. The Vaisheshika school says that the entity of the general manifestation is different.

If that's the case, then for Utpala (utpala, Devanagari: उत्पल, Romanized: utpala, literal meaning: blue lotus), you and blue are essentially indistinguishable, meaning that even terms with a common basis would become meaningless, because you have become a substance different from blue. The second point is, if it is said that the fault of this analysis also applies to you, then for all manifest things, the faults of having no commonality and the impossibility of having a common basis do not exist, because you have the characteristic of diverging from dissimilar categories from the perspective of exclusion. The third part has four aspects: one result corresponds to one word; negation applies through the common entity; determining the way of one result; showing the way of applying one word through examples. The first point is, if the common entity does not exist, and the exclusion of the common is fabricated, then it would be unreasonable to apply one word to many manifest things. If someone says that, in order to fully demonstrate the milking and plowing results of that cow, the elderly wise men used the word "cow" to refer to those different cows without a commonality that produce the same kind of results, then this is unreasonable, because it does not have the reason of a common entity, because it only has the reason of exclusion by being similar in diverging from things that do not have the result of that cow. If someone asks, why not use different words for many things separately, but use one word to refer to them? Then, for many different manifestations of cows, it is unreasonable to refer to them with different words, because it is difficult, impossible, and fruitless to express each different word. The second point is that the word "cow" does not refer to one common entity, because all manifest things maintain their respective essences without being confused with other things, so there is no common entity, because the essence of a spotted cow is different from the essence of a yellow cow. The third point is, why are all manifestations of cows one result? Because for both the spotted cow and the yellow cow, it can be said to be one result from the perspective of exclusion, because you have the characteristic of diverging from things that do not have the result of that cow. Therefore, for all manifestations of cows, it is unreasonable to apply or not apply the word "cow" to express the category, because there is no difference in the meaning of diverging from things that do not do the result of a cow, which is also repetitive.
