The subject of the statement of the proposition, you show only the characteristic of the tenet as the statement of the proposition, since the example of the unestablished sign is stated, it should not become a non-proposition, because the example of the unestablished sign is also the same as what is to be proven, because it becomes the characteristic of what is promised by any opponent. The four tenets are: the example of what is done in all continuums, such as saying that there is a valid cognition that holds the object to be measured, is the tenet of all continuums; the example of any dharma that is established in one's own continuum but not established in another's continuum, such as saying that everything is impermanent or permanent, is the tenet of each continuum; the example of when something is established, another aspect is established, such as saying that the self without a body enjoys the fruit after death, and that there is no karma arising there, when this is said, the self is established, this is the tenet of the occasion; the example of understanding the difference from what is promised without examination, such as promising the existence of the self without examination and then analyzing impermanence, etc., is the tenet of promise, these four are said by Shakya Blo, and are the tenets of the Vaibhashika school. Secondly, in short, the subject, the probandum, the sign are meaningless. If the dharma is the probandum, then there is no similarity. If both, then there will be faults of both. As you logicians say, what is the probandum? Is it the dharma? Is it the subject? Is it both? If the dharma is the probandum, then it contradicts the statement that the example is the way to understand the dharma that is similar to what is to be proven. The example of the similar class of the sign 'having birth' is the pot, the subject. The probandum of proving sound is impermanent, and the sign 'having birth' which becomes the dharma of the probandum in the way that it is similar to 'having birth' is not there, because the sign 'having birth' which becomes the dharma of impermanence does not exist. The pervasion is accepted. The sign is the dharma of sound, the sign 'having birth', but not the dharma of impermanence. According to the second, the definition of the reason is not reasonable, because the reason is that the example and the dharma are the same, and the probandum is established. The sign 'having birth' is the subject. The subject, sound, is what is to be proven, but it cannot become the sign that establishes the probandum, because sound is already established, so the sign is useless to establish it.

Because it does not exist. According to the third view, it would become both faults. If you say that the collection of these two, dharma and dharmin, is the probandum itself, then, the reason, the dharmin, the two, dharma and dharmin, are mutually differentiated, that is, the dharmin differentiated by dharma and the dharma differentiated by dharmin, should be your probandum. Because the meaning of the collection of dharma and dharmin is your probandum. If you accept, then, in that case, if the dharmin differentiated by dharma is the probandum, then, with the reason of sound being impermanent, the dharmin is that which is produced. Because it is in the current situation, the opponent debater will definitely determine that the dharma of both the sound differentiated by impermanence and the similar example are the same in the proof of sound being impermanent, so the characteristic of the reason that "the probandum is proven" cannot be established. Because it is in the current situation, the opponent debater has not established through valid cognition the dharma of sound differentiated by impermanence. Furthermore, with the reason of that which is produced, the similar example in the proof of sound being impermanent is the pot, the dharmin. Because it is in the current situation, the opponent debater will definitely determine that the dharma is the same in the sound differentiated by impermanence and that which is produced, so it must be impossible to establish the characteristic of the example that the dharma of the sound differentiated by impermanence exists in that which is produced. Because it is in the current situation, the opponent debater has not determined that the sound differentiated by impermanence and that which is produced are the same in dharma. If both reasons are not established, then, in the proof of sound being impermanent, that which is produced is meaningless. If you think that the dharma differentiated by the dharmin is the probandum, then these are the same. Because the reason cannot be the dharma of the collection, so if you want the sound of the probandum to be included in the dharmin, then, according to the logician, the dharmin, for the purpose of understanding the meaning of the probandum, what is the use of the treatise that explains the characteristics of the probandum? Because people will know what is the probandum and what is not the probandum, and then they will enter into the classification of them. The third case is: Furthermore, regarding the statement "stating the probandum is the thesis", is it limiting before the thesis by saying "only stating the probandum is the thesis", or is it limiting after the thesis by saying "stating the probandum is the only thesis"? If it is the first statement, then stating what is already established or stating what can be established
