Just as being harmed by fame, saying that the dadrika (Tibetan: ད་ཏྲིཀ་), the Emblica tree, is not a tree is also because of being harmed by fame. The third part has three points: commonly establishing the name of the moon; things becoming entered by the power of things; if it is forbidden to be said, it contradicts fame. The first point is: the one with reason is also the subject here. Just by making a convention, the name of the moon that can enter into meaning, in order to establish that it can be said, what is it that is not a common example that does not follow? It is not uncommon, because in the treatises on spice blending and essence extraction, in order for camphor and mercury, etc., the name of the moon is seen in the world, and you follow it. The second point is: the name called moon, if for camphor and mercury, etc., you allow it to enter by the power of convention, then taking it as an example, for things with rabbits, entering by the power of convention is established from the power of things. If you admit that camphor, etc., are established by fame, then things with rabbits are also established by fame, because it is established that the measure of the power of things cannot be prevented. This is said in the Pramāṇavārttika: If it is established in some things, then it is established by the power of things. If it is admitted that it is established by fame, then it is also unstoppable for things with rabbits. In the Tattvasaṃgraha it says: Entering into conventions are all common. If it is established in one, it is established in all. This is the entry of the power of things. This is the way of explaining, but some others explain it upside down. If it is said that the name of the moon can only be established on things with reasons such as camphor. Then for things with rabbits, it is also the subject. The name moon is unstoppable, because that thing with reason is established. If there is no thing with that reason on the rabbit thing, then for the rabbit thing it is the subject. Even if the name moon is prevented, there is no fault of contradicting fame, because there is no thing with that reason. The name with reason enters the thing without reason, because fame does not harm it. The third part has four points: because the intention to say pervades everything; if it is forbidden itself, it is harmed by fame; there is no harm in forbidding other names; therefore it is appropriate to show it separately. The first point is: the one with reason

Because it prevents sound from entering without reason, but fame does not cause harm. Arbitrary sound, which is expressed without relying on the certainty of reason, has the characteristic of dharma. The dharmas that arise from you are possible, because everything that you can express is you yourself. Because there is no obstacle to you entering into everything that can be expressed, desired to be expressed, and known. If, as some say, this has already been mentioned in the Pramāṇaviniścaya and the commentary of Lha. Because the above text does not exist in those two, it is said that way. If the above text exists in the Abhisamayālaṃkāra, then it is quoted and explained here. If, as some say, if it is established that only the rabbit can be expressed by the sound "moon", then the sound "moon", which has the characteristic of dharma, should not enter merely through convention, but must be established by the power of reason. If you admit that it is established by fame, then even if it is not a rabbit, you cannot prevent it from entering, which seems to need to be explained. Secondly, the inference called arising from fame, which cannot be prevented for any conventional thing, has the characteristic of dharma. Some things can be expressed by arbitrary sounds, because you prevent it, because everything is a measure of objects that can be expressed by arbitrary sounds. By proving that the inference of fame harms preventing anything from being expressed by arbitrary sounds, this has the characteristic of dharma. It is said that merely following the conventional arbitrary sounds, there is no unique certainty for the things expressed. Because preventing those arbitrary sounds from pointing to things like rabbits is proven to be contrary to fame. Thirdly, by proving that arbitrary sounds do not have certainty for pointing to the only thing, this has the characteristic of dharma. Preventing unreasonable things from becoming expressible things of reasonable sounds, or preventing all expressible things of sounds, i.e., things themselves, the fame arising from sounds does not cause harm, because it has been proven that fame only harms preventing the objects of arbitrary sounds. Fourthly, when explaining the distinction of exclusionary fundamental differences, by proving that fame is different from inference, the knot of fame
