In order to explain sentient beings. Just as the great scholar Vasubandhu said, "If it is indicated by the words 'I' or 'other,' then it is not established in the analogy." Secondly, if the Samkhya and Buddhists argue about whether there is a self or no self, if the eyes, etc., which the Samkhya uses to establish the argument, are used for the self, and that is not the proposition to be established at that time, then, the aggregated phenomena, your reason establishes that the eyes, etc., are used for others, then what is the proposition to be established? It should be non-existent. The eyes, etc., are used for the self, then why is that not the proposition to be established? If, other than being used for the self, being used for others is the proposition to be established, then the previous proponent would not want to establish it, or it would become meaningless for the respondent. Thirdly, there are three points: the argument with both is established as flawed in itself; refuting the same argument for the correct reason; in this way, other aspects without fault are also established. Firstly, through this reasoning, it can be shown that in the desired situation, for the display of the proposition to be established, for the Charvaka's argument with both, there is no concomitance with the example, and the fault of contradictory reason, because the body of a person whose body and mind are one is accompanied by it, and it is shown as the proposition to be established of the argument with both. So, what is the argument with both like? What is the way in which the two faults exist? The Charvaka wants to establish that body and mind are one, so he says that the pot is the body of a person whose body and mind are one, and the accompaniment of either the pot, because it is not a blue lotus, like a wall with a pot. His intention is that the dharma is accompanied by the body of a person whose body and mind are one, so there is no following in the analogy, and this reason contradicts the establishment of this. If there is no fault of the proposition to be established not following in the analogy at that time, because the dharma to be established is the accompaniment of either the body and the pot, universally existing, wanting to establish this, then, the pot, if you are not the accompaniment of the body whose body and mind are one, then you are not established as the accompaniment of either the body and the pot. If you are not the accompaniment of the body whose body and mind are one, then like this

Because the commonality of either the body or the vase is definitely not a companion to other things for you. Nor is it a companion to the vase. Even if it is not a companion to the body, to say that the vase is a companion to either the body or the vase, this assertion of the heretics is deluded by ignorance and stupidity, because it is a statement that speaks of emptiness. The second case is, if we examine the difference between proving the impermanence of sound and the impermanence of a vase, then proving the destruction of sound by "what is made" also has the same fault of being established on the combination of the two existing together. If we prove the impermanence of sound, then there is no example; if we prove the impermanence of the vase, then it is impossible on the subject, sound. If you say so, then "what is made" as the subject, when you prove that sound is impermanent, the fault of the combination of the two existing together is not the same because the reason for making the impermanence of sound and the impermanence of the vase as what is to be proven is that only the destruction without the difference of either sound or vase is established, so sound is established as such destruction. Similarly, if the commonality of either the body or the vase exists as other things, then the vase will also have it, but it does not exist. If that is the case, then the dharma, the impermanent dharma, as the subject, the positive example vase etc. do not follow. Because it is distinguished by sound. If you say so, then the impermanent dharma, as the subject, because it is distinguished by sound, it is not that the vase etc. do not have it, because it is only the negation of what is unrelated to sound. Generally speaking, in negation, there are two types: non-possessive negation and possessive negation, because the dharma is distinguished by non-possessive negation, so there is no following with other dharmas. If "what is made" as the subject, it will become the reason for proving that sound has already been destroyed, then what is the reason for only proving the destruction of sound? Because only destruction has already been established. If you say so, then "what is made" as the subject, even if only destruction has already been established, it is not proving that sound has already been destroyed, because sound is to be proven as not possessing the commonality, that is, only destruction. Therefore, only destruction is not a fault with the subject positive example not following, because it is the subject sound distinguished by non-possessive negation.
