If helping is like that, then the distinguished one should become infinitely powerful, because the ability to help the distinction also needs help. Therefore, the ability must be considered as one with the distinguished one, and if so, by determining "the pot is made," if the distinguished one is regarded as helping one distinction, then the consciousness should grasp all the helping abilities of other distinctions that it wants to not see, because seeing the distinguished pot in the way of establishment, the distinguished one and all the helping abilities of other distinctions that it wants to not see are not other, but this one self. If admitted, the definite knowledge of determining the pot, if grasping the distinguished one in the way of one distinction, then all distinctions should be grasped, because if regarded as helping one distinction, then it is regarded as helping all distinctions. Thirdly, if grasping the distinguished pot in the way of one like a distinction, then even if grasping all other distinctions, certainty will not arise merely from that, therefore, in order to eliminate the illusion of relying on other distinctions such as impermanence, i.e., superimposition. If it is thought that because one wants to enter sound and other valid cognitions, it will not become complicated, then the sound and the subsequent mind should be established as the object of eliminating discrimination, because it is the sound and mind that enter in order to eliminate superimposition. The knowledge that determines the pot is made, other than the sound and the subsequent mind, should also become eliminating entry like the subsequent mind, because before one's own function disappears, it is the mind that enters the object where there is no superimposition other than one's own way of determination. Furthermore, the mind that determines the pot is made, how are the natures of the pot, such as impermanence, your objects of clinging? It should not be, because you are a definite knowledge, and you have not determined the impermanence of the pot. Then, the impermanence of the pot, etc., should not be the object of the direct perception that holds the pot, because it has not determined it. It is not pervasive, because above there is a difference in the sign of "any definite knowledge," and it is not established on the direct perception that holds the pot.

Therefore. Now, wouldn't it be the case that direct perception does not understand all of its own objects? If you ask this, take the example of the direct perception of a pot. The distinctions of being produced, impermanent, etc., are grasped like a pot that has abandoned its different parts. Even though there is no difference in understanding in the ultimate sense, there is a difference between understanding and not understanding in name. Because for which distinction of the pot there is understanding, that is, there is a definitive favorable condition, and there is no cause for error, then in name it becomes known, and not the opposite. The definitive favorable conditions are clear intelligence, great familiarity, and the matter being timely, striving for it, and so on. The opposing conditions are similar phenomena, distance, dull intelligence, and so on. Third, refuting the debate that expresses by examining the reverse and non-reverse. If sound, discrimination, reversal, or establishment on the Dharma becomes the object of elimination, then if the reversal of a cow from a horse and the reversal of a non-horse on the cow are different, then it will become indistinguishable from the universal and particular that we accept. If there is no difference, then for these sound minds that take the subject and the Dharma itself as objects, it is not reasonable to have different establishments. If so, as an answer to the doubts of the Vaisheshikas, there are three points: Although the meanings of reverse and non-reverse are not different, two sounds are used. Because the meanings are not different, it is not like the fault of universality. If you look at the meaning, there is still the previous accusation. The first point has three: The two sounds are used only by the intention of expression, showing that there is no fault in them. This reason should be applied to all similar things. First, sound, discrimination, reversal, or establishment on other eliminations, for that reverse and non-reverse, although there is no difference in meaning, but "this cow is reversed from other horses" and "this cow is returned from other horses," etc., the sounds expressing the Dharma and the subject, and the different decisions that rely on the sounds, these subjects are not used because of the different meanings, but only follow the distinction between the Dharma and the subject by name, because it is established on the different establishments of the Dharma and the subject. The second point has two: It is reasonable to establish the grammar of the sixth case, and it is necessary to establish the difference of names. First, if the Dharma and the subject have no difference in meaning, then the grammar of the sixth case such as "the cow's cow-ness" does not need to be shown differently. If you ask this, the two sounds expressing the Dharma and the subject both point to the same cow.
