So, does that mind's objective condition arise from the happiness, etc., of another's continuum, or not? If it does, then the mind that focuses on the happiness, etc., of another is also a subject. It necessarily exists in both arising from and appearing to the happiness, etc., of another, because the happiness, etc., of another has made your objective condition. If the happiness, etc., of another does not arise from it and does not appear to it, then the mind that grasps the happiness, etc., of another's continuum is a subject. It will become the case that the happiness, etc., of another's continuum is not your object of apprehension, because it is not like arising from the happiness, etc., of another's continuum. If that mind does not grasp the self-character of the happiness, etc., of another, but grasps the general image of the happiness, etc., of another, so it is not without an object, then the mind that grasps the happiness, etc., of another is a subject. It will also not grasp the entities of the general image of the happiness, etc., of another, because it has not grasped the clarity of the happiness, etc., of another. It is pervasive: If the general entity exists slightly, it can be grasped without depending on clarity, but the general does not exist as an entity at all. As has been said before. There is a fault in happiness, etc., being experienced by another mind, therefore, the things that appear as happiness, etc., are subjects. The mind that experienced it before is generally manifest and particularly established as self-aware manifest, because it is not other than the mind that experienced it itself, that is, because it is the same entity. The second has two parts: stating the consequence, refuting the denial of fault. First: If the consciousness of another is only the agent that grasps the happiness, etc., of another, but does not grasp it as manifest, and one's own consciousness grasps one's own happiness, etc., as manifest, so there is a difference between whether or not one becomes happy or sad for oneself and others, then the two minds that grasp the happiness, etc., of oneself and others are subjects. From what does the difference between grasping and not grasping the happiness, etc., of oneself and others as manifest come, it should not exist, because one's own object, happiness, etc., is the same as making the hidden meaning the object for oneself. Second: If it is not pervasive, because one has the unseen karma of experiencing one's own happiness, etc., and one's own happiness, etc., and one's own consciousness have a connection of possessing the same meaning of self, and so on, one's own happin

If it is said that Īśvara enjoys experiencing happiness etc., and the opposite is true for the happiness etc. of other beings, because one can ascertain separately whether oneself and others experience or do not experience happiness etc., then, the happiness etc. of others, as a dharma, should not be held by others in any way, because others do not have the action etc. of holding it. If it is said that this is without fault, because actions etc. cause the difference between oneself and others experiencing or not experiencing happiness etc., while mere holding is the same, then, one's own mind, as a dharma, should also not have the distinction of oneself manifestly experiencing happiness etc. and not manifestly experiencing the happiness etc. of others, because it has already been refuted immediately by the reason that the happiness etc. of oneself and others are equally hidden. The second part has two points: stating the inference, and refuting the disclaimer. The first point is: those yogis who manifestly experience and know the happiness and suffering etc. of others, then, that yogi, as a dharma, should also be tormented by suffering in the same way that suffering arises in the continuum, because experiencing suffering is the same, that is, merely knowing suffering is the same. The pervasion is accepted. The second point is: if it is said that for those yogis, the suffering that arises from the aggregation of objects etc. and faculties does not arise, because there is no aggregation of objects and faculties, then, the debater, as a dharma, because the yogi knows the suffering of others, should experience suffering, to the statement that "not experiencing suffering because suffering does not arise" cannot be taken as an answer, because according to your view, becoming the nature of suffering itself is not considered to be experiencing suffering, but rather merely the arising of the mind that knows suffering is considered to be experiencing suffering. Then, according to your view, how does the yogi know happiness etc.? Dharmakīrti, as a dharma, the yogi focuses on the suffering of others, so it will not be a fault of being tormented by the suffering of others, because the yogi does not experience the suffering etc. of others, but is not the cause of being tormented by the suffering of others and being helped by happiness, because when the mind itself appears as the nature of suffering, it is torment
