Even if you are not the doer, you are placed in the position of understanding the meaning because of it. For example, a fruit is like a son, because they are similar in essence and form to their parents. In reality, even if the son does not have the function of holding the image of the parents, in the world, people use terms like "the son holds the image of the parents" to describe it. The second part is divided into two parts: general negation and individual negation. The first part is: because it is impossible to establish the understanding of other meanings except for those similar to the meaning. Therefore, those scholars who consider the understanding of meaning as a valid means of cognition, such as those who think that "seeing the meaning" is "observing the meaning," and the root consciousness with support as believed by the Vaibhashikas, the connection between the root and the object as believed by the Vaisheshikas, and the special cognition as believed by the Naiyayikas, these cannot be considered as valid means of cognition for understanding meaning, because the action is the determination of the understanding of meaning, which is a succession of moments. Universally, even if all the factors that contribute to the understanding of the meaning of the action are gathered together, in the end, that action which is not determined by other factors and has different characteristics is considered the true means of understanding the meaning, and not others. The second part is divided into four points: the root consciousness is not the establisher of meaning understanding, the grasping of differences is not the establisher, the encounter of root and object is not the establisher, and the conditioned phenomena arising from habit are not the establisher. The first point is: for the colored root consciousness, there is no such thing that can separately establish the understanding of meaning, because it is the common cause of all root consciousnesses. Therefore, even if the clarity of the root consciousness causes the clarity of knowledge, the root consciousness itself cannot establish "this knowledge is the understanding of this meaning," because the image of the meaning does not appear in different ways. By this reasoning that shows that the root consciousness is not the establisher of meaning understanding, it is also explained that the rest of the "observing the meaning," etc., are also not the establisher of meaning understanding, because it has been explained that the "observing the meaning," etc., do not show the image of the meaning. The second point is: the Naiyayikas say that understanding of things comes from seeing the attributes, therefore, the wisdom that grasps the differences such as attributes is valid cognition.

And, the wisdom that takes special and special things as its object is the result, and that is also said to be the object to be established and the means of establishing it, both before and after. The special wisdom is also the subject, not the object with special characteristics, but the object with special characteristics. If such a distinction is not made, it will become undifferentiated, because that special entity, that is, the appearance, does not appear. Other knowledge with special characteristics is also the subject. Similarly, it is not the object with special characteristics, but the object with special characteristics. If such a distinction is not made, it will be established, because the appearance with special characteristics does not appear. Furthermore, the knowledge of special and special things is the subject. It should not be allowed to enter into different objects, because this is established in reason, because it becomes both the result to be established and the means of establishing it. If it is said that there is no fault, because the two knowledges that arise in the past and future are meanings, that is, the measure of the same object, then, the special knowledge is the subject, the second knowledge that you have realized, the knowledge with special characteristics that you have established, becomes meaningless as your result, because you are the measure of realizing it. Furthermore, the two wisdoms of special and special things are the subject, and it will become impossible to arise in sequence, because the same meaning is the objective condition for both of you. If you promise, then those two wisdoms are the subject, and it will become impossible to have the object to be established and the means of establishing the measure and the result, because it will become simultaneous. The pervasiveness is acknowledged. Then, the realization of meaning and the similarity of meaning are the subject, and it is established that there is no object to be established and the means of establishing it, because they arise simultaneously, if you say so. The knowledge of the appearance of meaning is the subject, and the part of you that realizes the meaning, and those that are similar to the meaning, are established as the object to be established and the means of establishing it, because you realize the meaning there, because it is established based on the arising of similarity to the meaning. Third, if the Vaisheshika school acknowledges the connection or union of the root and the object as the measure, such as the eye consciousness that takes the vase as the subject, the momentariness of the vase, the selflessness, etc., are all its own nature, that is, it is connected and united with everything, but only some of its qualities, such as its color, are definitely the measure of realization, and it will not change in that determination, but it will become the measure of realizing all its qualities, because the momentariness, etc., that
