It is shown by... The third is, even if external objects exist, it is shown by... etc. As it is said, if analyzed according to the Mind-Only school, there are three distinctions: the valid result of self-awareness, the valid result of object-awareness in name, and further analysis reveals the transformation into the fruit of self-awareness, which is good. However, it is slightly inappropriate not to include the previous object-awareness valid result, and to consider the third valid result to be only the view of the Mind-Only school. Because these treatises are the displayers of the valid results of the first three perceptions. If analyzed according to the Sutra school, it would be wrong to say that there are no treatises that show the transformation into the fruit of self-awareness. Some people think that according to this teacher's view, when Mind-Only etc. is said to be the fruit of object-awareness, therefore comparing and explaining the meaning of the first valid result, and relying on the knowledge of the grasping subject, like the direction of Mind-Only etc., and asserting that the third valid result is the view of the Sutra school, this is an inverted explanation of this teacher's intention. The view of the incomparable Sakya school is that the main part of the valid result is the two valid results of object-awareness and self-awareness, and both of these are shown as the fruit of object-awareness in name, and when analyzed, there are four situations where it is shown as the fruit of self-awareness. The first two are the main part of the valid result, because at this time it is the occasion to explain the proof of direct perception realizing its own characteristics, so the proof of the first two direct perceptions realizing the own characteristics of things is the valid result of object-awareness, and the proof of the third direct perception realizing the own characteristics of knowledge is the valid result of self-awareness. And the Yoga direct perception, according to the Sutra school, believes that it realizes the own characteristics of the aggregates devoid of self, so it does not go beyond the objects of the first two. And in this tradition, the proof of realizing it is, Yoga realization is inconceivable, and those with inconceivable wisdom, their wisdom cannot be measured. As it is said, at this time it does not show its valid result. Thus, of the two, the teacher, in the context of the valid result of object-awareness, refutes the Vaibhashika school and establishes the Sutra school, that is, it accomplishes the task, from... to, because of superimposition, it enters.

Up to here. Regarding the valid result of self-cognition, the initial sketch of the valid result, which acknowledges both true and false appearances, is to refute the Sautrantika school and establish the Vijnanavada school, from "What is object-cognition?" to "These two aspects of it." This sketch, because of the reason that it acknowledges both true and false appearances, when the apprehended aspect is established as truly existent as the object of measurement in the true appearance school, self-cognition, the property-possessor, is the result; in the false appearance school, when the apprehended aspect is made the object of measurement as an imputation, self-cognition, the imputed entity, becomes the result, so it is said. Regarding this, refuting the true appearance school and establishing the false appearance school is shown from "Who analyzes entities?" onwards. Regarding how both of them become object-cognition results in name only, the Sautrantika school shows it with the very first valid result; there, the object-cognition spoken of as the result is in name only, because if analyzed, self-cognition is the result. The Vijnanavada school is shown by three verses, such as "When cognition is the object of the cause"; in short, "From its essence, the object is determined" is the meaning of the root text and commentary. Both schools say that in name only, object-cognition is the result, but if analyzed, self-cognition is the result, as shown by "Even if external objects exist," etc., whether it is the same as it or another similar one is fine, because the two ways of establishing external objects as objects of measurement are spoken of. Furthermore, there are seven key points of scripture and reasoning that need to be applied to both of these schools, which should be looked at in the general meaning. This school seems to be a complete and unerring fulfillment of the intention of Dignaga and Dharmakirti, so I will follow this and explain it. The second has two: explaining the classification of valid cognition, result, and object of measurement; and explaining the proof of that classification. The first has four: explaining the object-cognition valid result arising from external objects; explaining the cognition valid result arising from the stabilization of habit; even though external objects exist, self-cognition is established as the result; even though appearances are false, self-cognition is established as the result. The first has three: establishing that the valid cognition and result are of the same entity; refuting that the valid cognition and result are different entities; refuting the debate about being the same entity. The first has four: knowing the object, being able to establish is the proof; the difference of being able to establish.
