Therefore, it should be truly established that sound exists in that realm. Because you are the conceptual thought that connects sound and meaning. Pervasion: In whatever realm the sound of a name must be truly established, in that realm a communicative conceptual thought will arise. Because it is not in other realms. If you admit, then the consciousness born from the sense faculty will become established and act according to desire. Therefore, the external meaning of the object of apprehension will not be seen. Because it is admitted. The second has three: refuting the absence of a feeler, refuting other answers that have a feeler, and if it is non-conceptual, then the assertion is established. First: On the continuum of a single person, when the eye consciousness sees form, that consciousness that grasps form becomes without feeling. Because the eye consciousness sees form, that is, sees form, that is, it is certain, how can one see and determine that it is the mind that grasps form? Because it is uncertain. Admitting the pervasion, because grasping form is a conceptual thought, and that feeler is non-conceptual, how can it be? Because it is not. It cannot be admitted, because grasping form and its experience exist simultaneously, so it is refuted. The second has three: refuting that the grasping of form itself feels, refuting that others feel simultaneously, refuting that others feel after arising. First: If you say that the reason is not established, because the manifest conceptual thought of seeing "this is form" itself feels "this is grasping form", therefore. Then, on the continuum of a single person, it becomes possible for two conceptual thoughts of different entities to arise simultaneously. Because there is the conceptual thought of "this is form" and the conceptual thought of "this is grasping form" existing simultaneously. If you admit, then it is clear that it has not been seen by valid cognition. Second: If you say that the consciousness that grasps form is felt by another consciousness entity that is simultaneous with itself, so the previous reason is not established. Then, it has been shown that on one continuum, two conceptual thoughts of different entities will not arise simultaneously, therefore, the manifest conceptual thought of grasping form, for the feeling of another conceptual consciousness simultaneous with it, has also shown the fault. Because it has been shown that on one continuum, two conceptual thoughts of different entities will not arise simultaneously. The third has two: harming with three reasons, refuting the defense of the latter fault. First: If

If it is said that the previous reason is not established because the subsequent consciousness experiences the previous form-perception, then, the subsequent mind, as the subject, should become a memory consciousness for the past form-perception, because it is a conceptualization that focuses on the past form-perception. If you admit, then, the subsequent mind, as the subject, how can it be a memory for the previous form-perception? It should not be a memory, because you have not experienced that form-perception before. Furthermore, when the Svātantrika school determines and measures the minds that have form-perception, etc., as their objects, and the minds of other individuals, the two valid cognitions, as the subject, should become the same in the way of completely determining the object, because they are the same in entering the hidden past minds that are different from oneself. Furthermore, the past meaning-cognition, as the subject, cannot be established by inference as existing in one's own continuum, because if one takes one's own continuum as the subject and establishes that you exist in it, then it will be devoid of similar examples that possess the property to be established, and if one takes you as the subject and establishes that it exists in one's own continuum, then because the subject itself is not established, the sign that is established as the property of the subject does not exist. If you admit, then, the past meaning-cognition that arises from one's own continuum, as the subject, how is it established by valid cognition in one's own continuum? It should not be established, because for it, the direct perception that measures existence in one's own continuum does not occur, and the inference with a sign also does not occur. Secondly, if it is said that the nature of the past meaning-cognition, that is, its appearance as an aspect, will be held by the immediately following mind, just as the Sautrāntika school believes that the mind that manifests the aspects of form, etc., will hold the previous form, etc. Then, the immediately following consciousness that arises from the constant arising of meaning-cognition, as the subject, should not hold the minds of the previous moments other than the last moment of meaning-cognition through the way of experiencing, because the previous moments of meaning-cognition and you are separated by other consciousnesses. Thirdly, the direct perception that experiences the self-cognition of form as its object, as the subject, is non-conceptual, because it cannot express its own object. If it is said that since it is non-conceptual, then other direct perceptions, as the subject, should also be non-conceptual.
