It is unreasonable to consider this as a reason for non-perception, because for the rational, it is necessary to establish the meaning of non-conceptual sensory consciousness. The second has three: establishing the subject property, establishing the reason, and establishing the pervasion. First: the particular self-characteristic that has become the object of sensory consciousness is the subject. You are not directly expressed by sound, because you are seen at the time of convention, and another is not seen at some times of expression. Therefore, the general characteristic that is the same entity as clarity is also excluded from being directly expressed. If it is said that there is another general entity that has become the object of sensory consciousness, so it is directly expressed, then, the self-characteristic that has become the object of sensory consciousness is the subject. You are not another general characteristic that is different in entity from clarity, because there is no valid cognition that grasps the general characteristic that is different in entity from clarity. Second: the object of sensory consciousness is not directly expressed by sound, therefore, all non-erroneous cognitions arising from the senses are the subject. They are not conceptualizations of names, because they possess the object of apprehension of particular self-characteristics. Third, there are two: showing that self-characteristics are not objects of names, and refuting the proof that they are objects of names. First: the root reason has pervasion, because it is not possible for sounds, etc., to directly enter into particular self-characteristics, because particular self-characteristics do not follow both the time of convention and the time of expression, therefore there is no direct entry of names. The former has pervasion, because whatever is the real object of sounds, those names themselves are what are combined. Furthermore, the object of sensory consciousness is the subject. It is not the real object of names, because that which does not appear in the conceptualization of name connection is the reason. Pervasion: because in the conceptualization of name connection, such as "the name of that thing is this," whatever appears as the image of the thing and the sound, those themselves are attached to external names, and become the connection of name and the named. The former reason is established, because at the time of name connection, there is no appearance of the thing that appears clearly. Pervasion: because the different appearances in consciousness are what distinguish things.

It is also reasonable. The second case is: if when expressing the past, future, and places that are very far away, etc., because the self-character cannot truly appear, so it is not directly expressed, but pointing to the form seen by the eye consciousness, saying "this is form," in this case, is the self-character directly expressed? Even if the form of the object appears in the eye consciousness, but when others point to the listener and say "this is form," what is the real object of the indicated object? It is the clinging to the external image that appears in the conceptual mind, and the sound is actually connected to this, not the self-character that becomes the object of activity of the sensory consciousness. If that were the case, in the absence of the sensory consciousness acting on the object, the form must be clearly manifested merely through the word "other's form," but in reality it does not appear that way. A name, in itself, cannot make people understand what it refers to if it has not established a connection with the named object. If that were the case, even if the indication is not seen, merely hearing the word would lead to the error of understanding its meaning. The third part is divided into two points: revealing the root of error, and refuting the argument. The first point is: if the logician believes that the mental concept that follows the gate of the senses itself, due to manifestation, mistakenly believes that the manifestation of the senses is a concept, then what is the root of its error? The consciousness with concepts and the sensory consciousness without concepts, for these, the foolish logicians will cling to and confuse them as one, which is the reason, because they act on one object at the same time, such as form, sound, etc., or even if they act sequentially, it is because they act very quickly. Therefore, this is the cause of the error. The first cause of error is one's own view, and the second is to conform to the views of others. The second part is divided into two points: argument and answer. The first point is: if seeing is non-conceptual, then multiple consciousnesses will not arise simultaneously, so they must arise alternately with concepts. If so, then the direct perception of seeing, in itself, will become intermittent, that is, it will become discontinuous manifestation. Because between its own before and after, it is interrupted by conceptual thoughts. The second part is divided into two points: the interruption of seeing is the same as others, and the refutation of the answer that is different from others. The first point is: just as other logicians believe that sensory consciousness is conceptual, then arising from the present concept is
