It is the way to do it. Then, after looking at it for a while, there will be a clear and empty feeling of ungraspable appearance, which is the way to let it return to its original state. At that time, oneself and appearance are inseparable, appearance and emptiness are nowhere to be found, and one abides in a clear and empty state. That is the self-appearance of reality or the nature of mind, so there is no difference between the outer appearance and the inner mind. The self-radiance of the mind appears without obstruction. Because appearance is taken as an object, even the knowing is manifested as confusion. At that time, it does not disappear separately, it is the mind itself that is confused and appears. Therefore, (48) apart from the mind's appearance, there is not even a little bit of appearance or object established elsewhere. Previously, it was obscured by ignorance or clinging to mind and was not seen. The continuum of ego-grasping thoughts is cut off, and one recognizes one's own nature in no-place. Without clinging to appearance, empty and clear, nowhere, clear and empty, appearance and appearance arise simultaneously, which is called the clear light of the Dharmakaya. Now, cultivate without fabrication, let the six senses run wild, and cultivate on the basis of appearance. In that state, let the awareness be loose and crumbling, and rest without modification on the way it is. That is also comfortable, clear, empty, and good, without deliberately pursuing, not reminiscing about the past, not thinking about the future, not pondering the present, not fabricating with the mind, not meditating, not making inquiries of yes or no, let the mind naturally relax, without fabrication, without effort, in a state of non-striving, let the mind rest in its own nature. Abide in the state of appearance and emptiness inseparable, sound (49) emptiness inseparable, bliss and emptiness inseparable, awareness and emptiness inseparable, clarity and emptiness inseparable. In this way, appearance and emptiness are inseparable, appearance is not obstructed, and one directly realizes freedom from clinging, which is the arising of insight on appearance, which is the recognition of appearance and emptiness inseparable, the Dharmakaya. Relying on continuous cultivation, excellent realization arises. That is recognition on the basis of appearance, which is the third recognition, so cultivate and seven. Also, recognizing by observing whether abiding and moving are one or different, when observing whether abiding and moving are one or different, knowing that those two are the practice of conceptual thought, the two, abiding and moving, appear as not being one, appearing in a rotating manner, not changing when abiding, not abiding when moving, the one who does these is the only mind.

It does not go beyond the clear manifestation of the essence of these two. (50) It is not seeing the clear emptiness nakedly by drawing the thought back. It is also not that it becomes clear emptiness after the disappearance of memory and thought, but that the very first spontaneous thought itself realizes or becomes clear emptiness nakedly, then one knows the nature of the mind. The so-called "intermediate state of transformation" means that the mind does not discriminate and abides clearly, or the discriminating thought transforms, or the very nature of the discriminating thought does not go beyond the clear emptiness nakedly. Now, all phenomena of objects are like water and waves, all are the magic of the mind, and in reality nothing is established, realizing this is the recognition of phenomena as mind. The nature of that mind, by examining the three of going, staying, and coming, is not established anywhere, like the horses and cattle in a dream, realizing that it is not established in reality is the recognition that the mind is emptiness. While being emptiness, from the state of clear clarity, various spontaneously accomplished things arise unhindered, like the moon in the water, realizing this is the recognition that emptiness is spontaneously accomplished. (51) In this way, just as it is spontaneously accomplished, clarity and awareness, emptiness spontaneously accomplished, free from elaboration, unchanging, great bliss will not move. Just like a snake untying a knot, it is certain that appearance and liberation are simultaneous, this is the recognition that spontaneous accomplishment is self-liberation. The mind that is the object of recognition is that ordinary consciousness, unstable, changeable, aware, sharp, that itself is the union of clear emptiness, great bliss, emptiness endowed with all perfections, or called Mahamudra, recognizing it is called realizing Mahamudra, therefore there is nothing to meditate on, do not be distracted for even a moment, awareness remains clearly in itself. Do not have expectations and worries of hoping for good and fearing bad, relax, maintain the nature of ordinary consciousness, in that moment, the union of Mahamudra bliss and emptiness appears like the center of a clear cloudless sky. Now, Shamatha and Vipassana are united, experience and realization are very excellent, entering the path of liberation. (52) Emptiness is the nature of mind, clarity is the characteristic of mind, union is the essence of mind, free from all extremes of elaboration such as good and bad, arising and ceasing, the three of staying, existence and non-existence, permanent and impermanent, it is unspeakable, inconceivable, although it cannot be determined, it can be experienced, bright.
