One should abandon clinging to excellent grounds and the like. Within that state, the mind-essence, being unborn, is the Dharmakaya; being without abiding, it is the Sambhogakaya; while appearing in various forms yet being free from arising and ceasing, it is the Nirmanakaya. These three are inseparable, being the Svabhavikakaya. Therefore, one should recognize this single moment of mind as the nature of the four Kayas. Furthermore, the unobstructed manifestation of the mind's potential is the Nirmanakaya; the knowing and clarity is the Sambhogakaya; emptiness is the Svabhavikakaya; and their inseparability is also called the Dharmakaya. In short, all phenomena of existence, samsara and nirvana, are complete with the five Kayas, or within the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya, Svabhavikakaya, etc., are also completely included. Because it is the body of all dharmas, because its qualities are perfect and inconceivable, because it is the nature that follows awareness, it is regarded as the Dharmakaya of the protectors. As it is said, one should determine that the Dharmakaya, which possesses the two purities, is its very nature. Moreover, the nature of all dharmas is determined to be free from the three characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding, and is not established in any way, being free from all extremes such as existence and non-existence. Upwards, one should abandon hopes of attaining Buddhahood and generating special realizations, and downwards, one should abandon fears of wandering in samsara and not generating realizations in one's own mind-stream. In short, all hopes and fears should be abandoned. This is the forty-fourth Dharma category. In summary, to eliminate the five wrong thoughts, one is for the wise, and one is for three, so it is permissible to make two sessions.

The first is called falling into the nature of emptiness as knowable. What is the reason for falling into the nature of knowable? Because the main topic of reasoning such as being separate from one or many is the emptiness of the nature of knowable, which has been there from the beginning, but holding onto it thinking it is, with the defilement of fabrication, it will not become the correct path, so it must not fall into it. Therefore, the emptiness of what is not in the nature of knowable or not established that has already fallen, and the empty shell of the field of experience that has temporarily fallen, these two are eliminated by understanding the interdependent relationship of unobstructed conventional truth and by practicing hard. Lesson fifty-five. Secondly, after accomplishing various virtuous deeds of conditioned phenomena through body and speech, thinking that now I will meditate on the meaning of the unconditioned profound emptiness, thereby entering the realm of the three wheels of purity, and as an antidote to clinging to the characteristics of substantiality in all white dharmas, measure with scriptures and reasoning, etc. By analyzing and explaining, it is established that it is not established, or for things that are not empty, by making them unestablished with mantras such as ta (ཏཱ་,梵文天城体:ता,梵文罗马音:tā,汉语字面意思:达) and wa (ཝ,梵文天城体:वा,梵文罗马音:vā,汉语字面意思:瓦), and then meditating on emptiness, or meditating on the emptiness of impermanence, or by taking hold of the wisdom of the three wheels of purity, thereby making its own nature unestablished. First, focusing on things with characteristics, and then expanding the emptiness of the unestablished nature. Meditating by expanding emptiness on appearance, meditating on the generation stage, etc. Then, thinking that it has been expanded by emptiness and has become empty, meditating on these are called falling into the expansion of emptiness. Therefore, without forcibly cutting off this appearance as empty, without stopping this appearance, emptiness appears at the very time of appearance, so appearance and emptiness are inseparable, and the absence of self-nature is established as union. Therefore, for those who fall into the expansion of emptiness, the emptiness of the already fallen, the expansion of the emptiness of the unconditioned for the virtuous deeds with characteristics, and the temporary fallen, the lazy expansion, the experience disappears and longing arises, and the narrow-minded, patching the dharmakaya on appearance and mind, these three are eliminated by looking at the face of the antidote, and by practicing renunciation and praying, and by maintaining the self-nature of ordinary wisdom. Lesson fifty-six. Third is the three poisons etc.
