Liberation. At all times, as long as the self-luminous essence that does not conceptualize has not arisen, all samadhi with subtle habitual tendencies and stains of negative karma are without outflows. Subsequent appearances, such as practicing the eightfold noble path, are with outflows. This is the eighty-sixth Dharma discourse. The Great No-Meditation: All consciousnesses are transformed into wisdom. The sword of wisdom completely cuts off the obscurations of knowledge, along with the habitual tendencies of negative karma, so that the dharmadhatu is completely purified. The mother luminosity and the mirror-like wisdom of the son luminosity merge, realizing the unsurpassed enlightenment of non-learning union, without the distinction of meditation and post-meditation. On the basis of the original, uncorrected state, the practitioner benefits himself, and the inherent power of the dharmakaya effortlessly manifests in all directions. For the benefit of others, with the two form bodies, until samsara is empty, the activity of benefiting beings is completed, manifesting this path. In no-meditation, there is not much distinction between meditation and post-meditation; it mostly does not deviate from meditation. Therefore, one should experience without remembering or meditating. Free from the effort of recollection such as ascertainment, one abides at the exhaustion of dharmata. In appearance, free from clinging to truth, from the middle no-meditation, one can demonstrate the miraculous powers of the uncontaminated, which means seeing the nature of no-meditation, perfecting the power, and generating qualities. One taste and no-meditation differ in that the former requires reliance on subsequent awareness like illusion and perfect mindfulness, while the latter does not. Beyond freedom from elaboration, there is no increase or decrease in essence. This is the eighty-seventh Dharma discourse. If the four yogas, three yogas, and twelve yogas are combined with the path: Small one-pointedness is the path of accumulation. The intermediate experience is similar to clarity and emptiness; if it is grasped by mindfulness, it will appear continuously; even if it is not grasped, it will appear occasionally. This is the heat and peak of the path of joining, which is a precursor to the unborn wisdom of the path of seeing, free from elaboration. Previously, there was no clear appearance, but here a slight clear appearance of dharmata arises, and the experience is purified, approaching realization. The great experience is that all surrounding thoughts dissolve into it, without day or night, clarity and emptiness appear like the sky, and thoughts such as wanting to reach no-meditation arise. This is the forbearance and supreme dharma of the path of joining. Because stability is gained in the clear appearance of dharmata, and one is extremely familiar with it, the worldly path of

All supreme realizations are directed towards the arising of the realization of the path of seeing, which is free from elaboration. Through this, one can attain the four, three, and twelve branches of the path of accumulation, as well as the four branches of the path of joining, such as the heat stage. 'Free from elaboration' means: continuously dismantling and guarding the previous experiences, earnestly praying to the lama, and placing all appearances in the state of non-grasping and uncorrected nature. From these focused experiences, freedom from elaboration will arise, and as soon as it arises, one attains the path of seeing. Realizing that all phenomena are free from the three characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding, gives rise to a special joy that serves as the foundation for all qualities, hence it is called the first ground, the Joyful Ground. Therefore, the moment one attains a small freedom from elaboration, it is said that one has attained the path of seeing. Furthermore, by realizing that all phenomena are free from elaboration, one becomes free from the defilements of the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation, thus attaining the second ground of the path of meditation, the Immaculate Ground. The mind, which is inherently free from arising and ceasing, is manifested by the light of the lama's blessings, thus attaining the third ground, the Illuminating Ground. From the realization of freedom from elaboration, all the qualities of the Buddhas arise, and the benefit of sentient beings is accomplished, thus also attaining the fourth ground, the Radiant Ground. With the realization of the union of emptiness and compassion, one can purify the habitual defilements that are difficult to remove. As the great realization of freedom from elaboration matures, both samsara and nirvana are manifested as unborn, thus attaining the sixth ground, the Manifest Ground. Thereafter, when a small taste of oneness, in which self, other, samsara, and nirvana are all blended into one, arises in the continuum, and the realization of union lengthens the path of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers who are attached to emptiness, or goes far beyond it. Because it is connected to the eighth ground that is to be reached, one attains the seventh ground, the Far-Reaching Ground. If a medium taste of oneness, which cuts the root of grasping and being grasped, arises in the continuum, then all dualistic phenomena will appear as primordially self-luminous, and will not be moved by the concept of grasping at differences, thus attaining the eighth ground, the Immovable Ground. If a great taste of oneness, in which subsequent appearances arise as illusory, arises in the continuum, then by familiarizing oneself with the realization of union, the qualities arising from meditation are perfected, and all the perfections of qualities, such as the four kinds of perfect knowledge, arise, thus attaining the ninth ground, the Ground of Excellent Intelligence.
