Like mixing water into water, in that state, place the mind like raw meat. Do not expect the results of meditation, nor worry about not having results. Whatever state the mind is in, place it as it is. Do not meditate on emptiness, nor place it clinging to objects. Without any object of focus, do not have the desire for a comfortable and clear state, place it without that desire. Without any object of focus, place it loosely. Do not contract the mind inward, but expand it and place it, do not interfere with the mind's workings. In short, do not cling to anything, but place it in that state. Thus it is said. Dagpo Rinpoche said: When observing one's own awareness, do not regard the blissful samadhi that arises from being in a peaceful state as a virtue; do not regard the absence of that blissful samadhi as a fault, but rather place awareness without distraction. In the absence of distraction, no conceptual thoughts will arise. When conceptual thoughts arise, observe them, and then the conceptual thoughts will not arise in the beginning, will not remain in the middle, and will not cease in the end, but should abide in a state that is separate from things, self-nature, and all clinging. Thus it is said. Jetsun Tilopa said: Relax into the uncreated natural state, if you loosen the bonds, there is no doubt that you will be liberated. Thus it is said. Cut off the root of your own mind, and place awareness nakedly. Let the water of defiled thoughts become clear. Do not accept or reject appearances, place them in their own place. If there is no acceptance or rejection, appearances and existence will be liberated in the mudra. Because the ground of all is unborn, it is free from habitual patterns and obscurations. Do not be arrogant or calculating, abide in the unborn essence. Let appearances, self-appearances, and the dharmas of mind be exhausted. Thus it is said. Götsangpa said: When conceptual thoughts arise again, I clamp them with tongs and then release them. There is no doubt that it will be liberated in itself. Thus it is said. The accomplished master Orgyenpa said: Placing it without fabrication is like a Brahmin spinning thread, placing it loosely. Like a broken straw rope, placing it loosely. Like pressing on wool, placing it softly. If it is not like this, like a silkworm wrapping itself with saliva, one binds oneself. Like a wooden wedge in a rock crevice, even if the body and mind are all tense, the mind does not want to stay. From the state of being free from what is to be meditated on and the meditator, do not let the mind feel bored, but maintain a distance of non-distraction, let it wander freely wherever it goes, like holding a pebble and letting go of a monkey, it will return to its original position on its own. Therefore, grasp the key point of holding the mind.

As it is said, like this, these are to be practiced at all times of objects. Whatever discursive thoughts arise, one should look at the very nature of that, and abide without fabrication, without being bound by hopes and fears of acceptance and rejection, it is very important to abide relaxedly. The twenty-fifth Dharma session, the twenty-second object. Again, focusing the mind on a candle two fingers wide: The Venerable Dagpo Rinpoche said: Place a candle that is not moved by the wind on either side of your body, and let its image appear clearly in a clean mirror, and then direct your consciousness to the clear and unmoving image. As it is said, it should be practiced. Alternatively, focus the mind on empty space, such as the size of a palm, the size of the inside of a house, the size of the inside of a valley, the size that the eyes can reach, or the size of the space filling three thousand worlds. Furthermore, since it is the place where consciousness gathers, focus the mind on a white mustard seed-sized spot inside the triangular bone between the eyebrows. For these objects, do not engage in discursive speculation about size, thickness, color, etc., but leave them in their natural state. The three objects of candle, sky, and spot, even if only one of them is shown, it is okay, but one must focus on the one that appears clearly, and must take it seriously. The twenty-sixth Dharma session, the twenty-third object. Secondly, in the Samadhiraja Sutra it says: With a body like the color of gold, The protector of the world is beautiful in every way, Whoever places their mind on this object, That Bodhisattva is called Samadhi. As it is said, if one focuses the mind on the body of the Tathagata, immeasurable qualities will increase, therefore focus the mind on that very body: In front, on a lion throne and a lotus sun and moon cushion, visualize the perfectly complete Buddha Shakyamuni, with a body color like pure gold, one face and two arms, with the earth-touching mudra and the meditation mudra, adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor signs, wearing three Dharma robes that are beautiful like red clouds at sunset, sitting in the vajra posture, radiating light and rays, possessing excellent qualities, teaching the Dharma with great joy to oneself, visualize clearly. Whoever remembers the Buddha,
