In this way, it will not become confusing. Like this, repeat the practice of making others happy. Today, in front of all protectors, I invite beings and Sugatas, as well as those in between who are in bliss, as guests, and may gods and asuras and others be happy. Recite this once. Regarding the precepts, there are two types: the precepts of taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta. First, in the Nirvana Sutra, it says: "Whoever takes refuge in the Buddha is a true Upasaka, and should never pay homage to other gods. Those who take refuge in the Dharma should be free from the mind of harming and killing. Those who take refuge in the Sangha should not associate with heretics." As it is said. Second, as it is said: "There is nothing that the princes do not learn." Like this, there are many when expanded, but in short, it is: respecting the Mahayana Lama, abandoning the four black dharmas, practicing the four white dharmas, not abandoning sentient beings, and the summarized precept of aspiration is to aspire to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of sentient beings. Not doing meaningless sins, and doing good as much as possible is the precept of entering. In detail, as stated in the Ornament of Liberation, the precepts of aspiration are summarized as: not abandoning sentient beings, remembering their benefits, accumulating the two accumulations, repeatedly practicing Bodhicitta, and adopting and abandoning the eight black and white dharmas. These five points summarize the precepts of aspiration. As it is said. The precepts of entering are mainly the three trainings, which can also be summarized into the six perfections, so based on that, it is summarized as: generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. These six ways summarize the precepts of generating the mind of entering the Bodhisattva path. Therefore, please practice the Dharma without making mistakes in what to adopt and abandon, and what to enter and exit. The benefits of generating the mind of enlightenment in this way are stated in the Sutra Requested by Glorious Gift: "The merit of the mind of enlightenment, if it had a form, the entire expanse of space would not be able to contain it, it would be even greater than that." And in the Bodhisattva's Way of Life, it says: "After generating the mind of enlightenment, in an instant, the cycle of

Those miserable ones imprisoned in prisons are said to be the sons of the Sugatas, and the world, including gods and humans, will prostrate to them. Thus it is said. Once the mind has truly taken hold, from now on, even if one is asleep or careless, the power of merit will continuously increase, becoming as vast as the sky. Thus it is said. The faults of abandoning Bodhicitta are that one goes to the lower realms, harms the benefit of others, becomes an obstacle to attaining the ground, and it takes a long time. Thus it is said. If one makes such a vow and does not accomplish it with action, having deceived all those sentient beings, how will my going be? And so on, it is said limitlessly in the scriptures, so knowing the benefits and faults as they are, without confusing what to take and what to abandon, diligently making it the essence, one will soon attain complete enlightenment, so think like that. Thus it is said. Do dedication and aspiration prayers. The ninth Dharma session. Second, the practice and recitation of Vajrasattva to purify sins and obscurations. In general, all good and evil depend on the intention of the mind, as it says in the Precious Garland: All dharmas are preceded by the mind, the mind is known as the chief. And as it says in the Treasury: Mind is the action of the mind, from which arise the actions of body and speech. Therefore, the ten non-virtuous actions, or the five heinous crimes, or the five near heinous crimes, or the breaking of vows and commitments, etc., caused by afflictions such as attachment and hatred of the mind, whether done by oneself, caused to be done by others, or rejoicing in others doing them, and not only that, but also hearing, thinking, and practicing caused by attachment, hatred, and afflictions are also sins and non-virtuous actions. Obscurations are of two types: afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations, the former obscuring liberation, the latter obscuring omniscience. The former, according to the lower Abhidharma, are ninety-eight, and according to the upper one, there are one hundred and twenty-eight. If summarized, they are the six root afflictions: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, and view, and the twenty secondary afflictions such as anger. If summarized further, they are included in the three: attachment, hatred, and delusion. Cognitive obscurations are the grasping thought and the apprehending thought. That is, it includes grasping the limits of existence as knowable objects as real. If summarized, it includes the base, the path,
