Since the fathers themselves, with the involvement of fabrications, obscure the ordinary consciousness of the luminous nature, that is, obscuring all involvement of fabrications, it is established as conventional truth; this, in terms of being able to perform activities such as offering to the Buddha and benefiting sentient beings, is truth in that it is not deceptive, and the illusory body vajra body thus established is also established as conventional truth. Ultimately, when the non-learning union is realized, it is necessary to bless that body to manifest enlightenment as the ultimate truth, thereby attaining Buddhahood. Furthermore, the Kadampa, called from the perspective of the individual, those who rely on the vehicle that serves as the causal path, and practice emptiness as view and meditation, consider that both the apprehended and the apprehender are not established as being able to withstand examination, and that unborn emptiness is like the expanse of space, and they have not seen anything at all, but merely imagine it as a negation of non-existence, and the manifestation of ordinary consciousness, which of the two is better? The manifestation of ordinary consciousness is better. Because such a realization of emptiness is not the correct view and meditation that uproots all extremes of elaboration and enters the dharmata of all dharmas, but merely a belief and practice of conceptual distraction fabricated by the mind, thinking that the nature of knowable things is emptiness. It has not become the prajnaparamita that approaches the pacification of objects and subjects, the view and meditation of the heart essence of the Sugata who abides in reality. The Blessed One himself also said: 'Those who think of all dharmas as empty, those children have entered the wrong path, the emptiness of dharmas is spoken with letters, those without letters are revealed with letters, those who are peaceful and extremely peaceful, the bodhisattvas who contemplate all dharmas, when will they arise, all elaborations are thoughts of the mind, therefore, realize all dharmas as inconceivable.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, if someone thinks that the view and meditation of the precious Mahamudra of the Kagyu lineage is not correct, because after thoroughly analyzing with reason, no dharma that can withstand examination has been found, and the tradition of abandoning all extremes and tending towards the Middle Way has not become the correct view and meditation of the great chariot Nagarjuna's feet. If one thinks so, then such a statement does not understand the true view and meditation of the great chariot Nagarjuna's feet.

If one does not comprehend the manner of view and meditation, it is merely empty talk. Such view and meditation involve the complete cessation of all objects of expression, both those that can and cannot be analyzed. Thus, all objects of expression—the mind, intellect, and consciousness—naturally, effortlessly, without contrivance or modification, cease, thereby becoming free from the three characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding. Therefore, abiding in such a manner of view and meditation is like the nature of all phenomena, whose intrinsic nature is like the quiescence of elaboration, akin to nirvana, as illustrated by example. As the noble Nāgārjuna said: "That which is expressed ceases, So does the sphere of the mind. Unborn and unceasing, The nature of phenomena is like nirvana." If one meditates on both analyzable entities and unanalyzable non-entities, it is not the Middle Way view and meditation that does not abide in either extreme, and it will not completely become nirvana. As the teacher Āryadeva said in the Garland of Jewels: "Grasping at existence and non-existence, Exhaustion is called nirvana." In particular, if one considers the unanalyzable emptiness to be the correct view and meditation, the noble father and sons greatly refute it. The glorious Chandrakīrti said in his commentary, the Clear Lamp: "Even meditating that all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are empty by thinking of everything through distinctions such as above and below is not meditation, because it is a view of clinging to emptiness." By saying this, it is also well prevented that when Shar Tsongkhapa and his disciples enter the stages of tantra, they say that the emptiness of the environment and beings should be practiced as analytical emptiness. Moreover, that which has become emptiness through analysis is not the true emptiness, because all phenomena appear as they are seen and experienced, but at the same time, yogis need to comprehend in their direct experience that they are empty of their own nature, separate from those phenomena. As it says in the sutra: "O Protector of Light, emptiness does not make phenomena empty; emptiness is the emptiness of phenomena," and so on, it is extensively explained. Furthermore, if one believes that the empty void that rejects all precepts and does not find anything to hold onto is the Middle Way view and meditation,
