All deluded experiences, without needing to remove, establish, refute, or construct, return to the very nature of the Dharmadhatu Prajnaparamita, into the quiescence of Suchness. To further dispel doubts through questions and answers, which is better: a non-conceptual samadhi that is empty like space, or remaining undistracted in the state of awareness? Upon observation, the non-conceptual samadhi is indeterminate, and therefore cannot accomplish anything. Thus, the so-called ordinary self-satisfied consciousness, in the causal vehicle, is the non-conceptual samadhi that focuses on the perfections such as generosity. In the resultant vehicle, it is the experience of bliss and clarity that focuses on the Theg le nada (Tibetan), seed syllables, mudras, body images, channels and winds, the burning and dripping of Theg le (Tibetan), thinking that the non-conceptual samadhi is vast and boundless like space. All of these are merely the revolving of object and subject, object of focus and focusing subject, the characteristics of the obscuration of knowledge, or the progression and regression, and nothing more. Therefore, such views and practices cannot enable the complete and perfect enlightenment of all phenomena in every way. As the venerable Saraha said: Do not think yourself to be binding the breath; Do not sit at the tip of the nose in wooden yoga. Alas! No, generate the supreme co-emergent! Completely abandon the bondage at the tip of existence. Here, when the mind is concentrated, the breath stirs, wavering and fluttering, becoming very unruly. If the co-emergent nature is realized, then its essence will become stable. It is also said: By experience, it is called co-emergent. Clinging to images is like looking in a mirror. How can one not understand that for the water of a mirage, due to illusion, the wild animals run. Due to ignorance, thirst cannot be quenched, and one will die. What is called ultimate, and takes pleasure. Therefore, rather than such non-conceptual samadhi, it is better to remain undistracted in the awareness just mentioned. Because such awareness can cut off the obscurations and the habitual tendencies of obscurations, even the connection to bad rebirths. Moreover, the non-conceptual indeterminate consciousness, even if practiced for as many eons as there are grains of sand in the Ganges, will not become an antidote to the two obscurations, and will only temporarily alleviate the suffering of samsara.
