Abandoning the practice of consuming only one thing, like fasting at night. On top of some practices, abandoning taking what is not given, and so on. On top of most practices, abandoning sexual misconduct, and so on. On top of that, completely abandoning alcohol. Completely abandoning non-celibacy, becoming a celibate layperson, these six are common with the Sarvastivada school, while the Sutra school says that upholding the eight precepts of refuge until the end of life is the layperson of the deaf. For the ordained, upholding the four root precepts and six branch precepts along with the conforming practices is a novice monk (or nun). On top of that, abandoning the six root dharmas and six conforming dharmas, a total of twelve, for two years, is the training of a female novice. Abandoning the two hundred and fifty precepts of a fully ordained monk (or nun) along with their parts is becoming fully ordained. The function is: to become the water wheel that abandons the unfavorable aspects. The explanation of the words is: Prati (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means to enter individually, meaning that the continuums are individually different, hence it is called Pratimoksha. Or, Prathama (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means first, therefore at the end of the three statements, and because one first obtains the vows, therefore one first obtains liberation, or, Upa Prati (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means the means, that is, it is connected to the means of liberation. By the way, the translator prostrates and says: I prostrate to the all-knowing one! Thus he said. The second is: the four collections of scriptures that appear as collections of names, sentences, and letters, along with their commentaries. Second, regarding the content of the text, first is to pay homage and vow to explain, the closeness of the Tathagata in the causal stage is the two Bodhicittas, which have been perfected in accumulation and purification for countless eons, and in the fruitional stage, he has obtained the three bodies and two wisdoms of closeness. A banner is an example that is full and clearly manifest, it is to make manifest higher realms and definite goodness. This is known in the three realms. Then, how is it known in the formless realm? Because the birthplace of the formless realm is the realm of supernormal knowledge, therefore one generates the thought of the Buddha as the Buddha. This holy one is omniscient, and the dharma that accomplishes this omniscience is: the direct realization of the four truths, and the means for that is sound, like a lion without fear, able to distinguish the heretics, and gather the disciples, proclaiming the sound. Wisdom is perfect, hence he is the all-knowing one, compassion is perfect,

It is the treasure or treasury that accumulates the Three Jewels. The excellence and perfection of the fruit, like the feet of the Tathagata, Brahma is the master of the whole, and he also touches (the Buddha's feet) with the jewel on his head. No. The excellence of abandonment is that it transcends the immeasurable ocean of the three sufferings. The excellence of wisdom is the chief being embraced by the six realms of beings. Bow down to that refuge with your head. In order to attain omniscience, the four divisions of the Vinaya, which are the basis of learning, are the vessels from which the Three Jewels arise, so they should be distinguished in the midst of the Sangha, which is far from sin and non-virtue. After making such distinctions, the first is to praise the Pratimoksha. From the perspective of the benefits of this life, there are five kinds of praise. The Vinaya spoken by the Buddha is like Lake Manasarovar at the foot of the snowy mountains, unfathomable, and is the essence of the foundation of all precepts, which is the seed and the root. The essence is the meaning of immutability, which is this Pratimoksha. This Pratimoksha is the King of Dharma, the Buddha himself. Wherever the relics of this Pratimoksha are cherished and cared for, there is the excellence of guiding all the Dharmas, such as the twelve branches of precepts, like ministers. This Pratimoksha is the merchandise by which the company of monks can obtain the jewel of Nirvana, and the three trainings with precepts as the guide. Moreover, the place where the latter two trainings are placed is the great market of the former training. For those who are impure in discipline, that is, those who are controlled by afflictions, the good medicine that can eliminate the harm like snake venom is this Pratimoksha. This Pratimoksha is like taming a young and strong elephant, who is arrogant because of youth and whose mind is perverted by lust, by controlling it with an iron hook and a nose rope. The unseen benefit is that the boat of salvation that liberates from the cycle of existence, which is deeper than the sea of poison, is this Pratimoksha. This is the good realm, the hope of going to the good realm, the Yaksha.
