Secondly, regarding the conducive medicines for comfortable dwelling, they include: the substance, who enjoys it, and how to build a suitable room. The first part includes: nature, definition, the reason for naming, necessity, method of use, and method of blessing. The first is: timely medicine, measured medicine, seven-day medicine, and lifetime medicine. First, the five foods and five drinks, etc., can be taken from dawn to noon. Lifetime medicines include: medicines from flowers, leaves, roots, and fruits, such as Haritaki, Vibhitaka, Amalaki, etc. Secondly, timely medicine is mainly used to relieve hunger and should not be eaten in the afternoon. Measured medicine, monks can take it, mainly to quench thirst, and the drink should be mixed with the first food, and should not be drunk a second time. Seven-day medicine can relieve hunger and wind disorders, and can be taken at any time without blessing, but should not be kept for more than seven days after blessing. Lifetime medicine is mainly used to cure diseases and can be taken until the disease is cured. Thirdly, it is taken only in the morning, etc., and can be identified by its name. Fourth, hunger, etc., are the same as above. Fifth, eye medicine and bear skin, etc., are used through the body, and patients should take them according to whether it is timely or not. 将此适合时宜的药物,我与梵天同等修行者们应当行持,加持其适合时宜。如是说三遍,善用方便。七日及终生持戒亦如是。若加持剩余药物,祈请垂念。我名某某,此剩余药物未作如法,应作如法,于堪布手中作如法。信任堪布而持之。依缘起如是持之。如是说三遍,善用方便。解除加持是:祈请垂念。我名某某,此药物曾加持为适合何时宜,因此,将彼物再次解除。如是说三遍,善用方便。解除剩余药物是:祈请垂念。我名某某,此剩余药物何时于堪布手中作如法,因此,将彼物再次解除。如是说三遍,善用方便。毁坏之因是:加持失效,变味,以仪轨取出,各自时限已过。第二、何人受用:通常出家戒律清净且具涅槃之念者持之,特殊情况下,施与父母等乞讨者。药物之器皿钵盂加持是:处所与所依皆立起,于二者之左手置钵盂,二者之右手覆盖其上,祈请垂念。我比丘名某某,此钵盂适合食用,此正直者之器皿加持为乞讨之器皿。如是说三遍,善用方便。钵盂所需及剩余亦如衣物之时一般取出。解除是:以右手执钵口,祈请垂念。我比丘名某某,此钵盂适合食用,此正直者之器皿曾加持为乞讨之器皿,因缘如是,故将彼物再次解除。如是说三遍,善用方便。第三、加持禅房是:非处所门房及树下与象圈等,处所具近处,非遮蔽处,未加持为禅房(58a)
