Chapter Five. Third, entering the lay life after breaking the precepts. The basis is: "Precepts, ah." And, the change of action is: "Oneself." That is to say, without being invited by a lay household that has been given the precepts, but belonging to a bhikkhu's household that has already taken the precepts, with the intention of craving food, finally swallowing the food into the throat, one commits a transgression. Fourth, transgressing due to not inspecting the forest. The basis is: "Sangha, ah." And, the change of action is: "After begging." And, how should it be purified? "That bhikkhu." etc. These four transgressions are due to craving food, and need to be confessed in the Sangha's assembly in a lamenting manner, the recitation of that bhikkhu etc. should be added to the end of the four Pratimoksha vows. The basis is that when a bhikkhu is assigned to patrol the forest, without patrolling the fearful forest, but begging for food from a non-relative layperson, knowingly swallowing the food into the throat without patrolling the forest, it is a Pratimoksha offense. The summary recitation is: "Venerable." etc. Announcing the difference is: "From it." etc. Part Two: The Category of Wrongdoings In the category of wrongdoings, abandoning false speech is: In the Vinaya. "The lower garment has seven kinds, the upper garment also has three kinds, extreme restraint etc. have five kinds, head covering etc. have five kinds, jumping etc. have five kinds, body etc. have five kinds, sitting postures have nine kinds, giving and receiving have eight kinds." Quoting scripture for the purpose of recitation is: "Venerable." etc. 1. Concerning the categories of sewing clothes: The lower garment should be sewn in a circular shape. It should not be raised above the knees, not tilted like a bamboo tube, not elongated like an elephant's trunk like an ax corner, not folded above the belt like a palm leaf, not piled up between the upper and lower parts of the belt like a pile of grain, not protruding outwards from the end of the belt like the crest of a snake's head. The upper and lower edges of the Dharma garment should be sewn in a circular shape, not raised or tilted. 2.
