If a bhikshuni does not have legal assistance and behaves improperly in both places until the end, she will commit a downfall. 9. Regarding standing. The basis is: "Again," and the connection is: "Standing," as with the previous branch, standing is different. 10. Allowing a bhikshuni to participate. The basic cognition is: "Again," and the basic connection is: "Bhikshuni," because the bhikshuni is not a relative, so the donor householder does not possess the qualities of self-realization, etc., but falsely claims to possess them, thereby arranging for the supply of timely food. The motivation is that the bhikshuni arranges the supply through untrue qualities, and because she wants to eat, she ultimately swallows it into her throat, and she will commit a downfall. (Fourth group, regarding categories such as "Again and again"). The summary is: Again and again and the dwelling place are one, with flour and strength, gathering and untimely, storing and swallowing, and merit itself. Among them: 1. The special circumstances of downfall are: "Again and again," the allowed time is: "Food," that is, being sick, the broom reaching the bed, not reaching half a yojana, and not being a hard stretching time, inviting one person as a guest, not getting an elbow-length cloth from the latter of the two people, and the timely food belonging to the five foods and five seasonings is enough. The connection is to start in a non-famine time and swallow it into the throat, and one will commit a downfall. The teaching is: Do not let guests enter the room early. Check the internal staff and decorate the behavior. (38b) Do not cut off timely food at will. 2. Eating in the same dwelling place. The allowed extent is: "Dwelling," the past is: "From that," that is, the basis is not a bhikshuni, but in a place that is entirely heretical, the heretical donor is not a relative, and is not given at will. The motivation is to eat overnight food, the connection is to start eating the second food, and swallowing it into the throat, and one will commit a downfall. 3. Receiving more than three alms bowls. The extent allowed for begging is: "Bhikshu," the past is: "From that," and what should be done if begging exceeds that amount? "The alms bowl is full," etc. For the donor householder who does not give food at will, the alms bowl made in time, the small size is three, and the medium size is two. Exceeding the large size, take it from that place to another place to eat, and start swallowing

Swallowing results in a downfall. Similarly, offenses occur through others giving, and the other three (situations). There is no downfall for eating leftovers in that place, or for taking and eating leftovers that have not been cooked. 4. Eating what has been abandoned: The basis of reliance is: Again. The characteristic of combination is: To eat or consume. The basis is a monk who is not sick, belonging to the category of food, not suitable food, not porridge or yogurt. Thinking, 'Today I will not eat,' and completing the abandonment. Not blessed, the combination is not a time of famine, swallowing results in a downfall. The downfall of the other three (situations), as well as porridge that does not tilt upwards, and (39a) yogurt that does not show finger marks, do not result in the downfall of abandoning. If one forcefully eats what has been abandoned due to hunger, etc., then eat it after blessing it. 5. Forcing abandonment: The thought of reliance is: Again. The distinction of place is: Monk. The combination is: Venerable. Not a time of famine, suitable food, a measured monk who has not blessed the food, with the intention of forcing (others), especially after doing so, begins to force. If the monk of the place eats, the one who forces commits a downfall. Allowing a monk to drink alcohol and eat dinner is an offense in this case. 6. Eating in a gathering: The specific designation of things is: Gathering. The time of permission is: From that. Not a time of great gathering, within one boundary, separated from the general Sangha, three or more monks together begin to eat suitable, measured food, swallowing results in a downfall. Sickness, work, and laying out hard objects are not included here. 7. Eating at the wrong time: The reliance is the time of prohibition: Again. The basic combination is: To eat. And so on. Without sickness or other reasons, suitable food, from noon in one's own region until the first stars appear, beginning the combination and eating, each mouthful results in a downfall. 8. Eating what has been stored: The basis of reliance is: Again. The characteristic of combination is: To eat. Without sickness or other reasons, any of the four medicines, given and received and stored. Not decayed, not a (39b) time of famine, beginning to eat and swallowing results in a downfall. The means extending from this is the share of what is obtained.
