Difference. What are the eight meditations and liberations, what are the stillnesses, what are the differences in attainments, and what becomes eight as one? For this, unobstructed knowledge is said to be power. In the infinite realms of the world, the differences in the lineages of yogis, whether they transcend the world or not, and the infinite differences in the sharpness and dullness of faculties, what are the four meditations and eight liberations? What are the stillnesses of one-pointed mind? What are the special attainments of the final abode, and what becomes eight as one? These are the four meditations, the four formless absorptions, and the nine cessations of feeling and perception. The infinite causes of defilement and purification of these, such as meditation, for this, unobstructed knowledge is said to be the power of meditation and so on, all defilements and purification. Eighth: As long as there is delusion, as long as there is existence, abiding in the past self, and the existence of each other sentient being, sentient beings are, as many as there are, infinite with bases, places, and those with possessions, for them, what is wisdom, that is power. As long as there is delusion, by the power of unobstructedness, (380b) The lineage of births is unobstructed, that is, abiding in the existence of existence, the past self, and the existence of each other sentient being, sentient beings are, as many as there are, infinite, their past existence, birth with bases, places, and those with possessions, for them, what is the wisdom of the Bhagavan, that is the power of remembering past abodes. Ninth: Sentient beings, each sentient being's death and, what is birth, abiding in the world, reaching the end of space, many ornaments, for them, wisdom enters at that time, without attachment, all aspects are pure, infinite is power. Sentient beings, each sentient being's death, the destruction of aggregates, and what is the connection of rebirth, abiding in the world, reaching the end of space, combined with various crafts of karma, extremely adorned and numerous, for them, the wisdom of the Bhagavan enters at that time, without attachment to objects, all aspects are pure, infinite this is the power of the teacher's knowledge of death and birth. Tenth: With the power of all-aspects knowledge, quickly the Victorious Ones', defilements, together with habitual tendencies, are destroyed.

Speed. Those who are obstructed by the minds of disciples, etc., are said to have the power of unobstructed and infinite wisdom. With the speed of the power of knowing all knowable things, the Buddhas in the three realms, with ignorance and other defilements, and with ignorance and other things that cause the mind to cease, follow the teachings, the ultimate habituation of defilements, and the habits that are said to be the root are destroyed and stopped. Disciples, such as Sravakas, can stop the mind of wisdom that examines each defilement separately, but they cannot abandon habits. Just as when flowers and sesame oil are removed from a vase, their smell is still perceived. Likewise, although defilements are abandoned, there are habits, so the Arhat who was once a monkey jumps and walks, and the Brahmin who was once a Brahmin speaks of the behavior of a low-caste woman, which even the Blessed One could not stop. Thus, the habit of ignorance is an obstacle to cutting off all knowable things. This is because, in some old notes of the commentary on the Introduction to the Middle Way by Patsab Lotsawa, it appears in Rirawa houses, etc., and in that place, the one who knows is established as the knowledge of the two appearances, so it should be understood as the obscuration of knowledge. The habits of attachment, etc., are also the cause of generating the faults of body and speech of Sravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Arhats, etc. Only the perfect Buddha can stop those habits, but not others. The habit of defilements is the obscuration of knowledge. Master Chandrakirti clearly stated this here, so all Tibetans who strive to not establish the habit of the obscuration of defilements as the obscuration of knowledge by the Prasangika school have not even made the effort to read this root commentary once. Therefore, the habit of defilements and the abandonment of defilements connected by that habit, to that, the wisdom of the Buddhas, unobstructed, unimpeded, and infinite, is said to be the power of the wisdom of exhaustion of outflows. Secondly, it shows that all qualities are not the realm of activity of noble beings other than the Buddha. Although it is not the realm of activity of ordinary people, it is briefly explained based on the teacher. Secondly, the first. Just as without space, birds do not turn back, so it is, just as it turns back when its own power is exhausted. Likewise, the Buddha's sons with disciples, to the Buddha's qualities, are as infinite as space.
