And refute. Without analysis, the conventional truth, without being inverted, the object of the view of self is the aggregates. Therefore, the Blessed One also said that the view of self is the view of the perishable aggregates. This shows that through this, it can be known that this is refuting the "self" other than the aggregates. Because other sutras say that form is not self, etc. The second point is: Because form, feeling are not self, thought is also not, the aggregates of formations are not, consciousness is also not. Because other sutras say it is not, therefore, the aggregates mentioned in the sutra are not considered to be self. The meaning expressed in the previous sutra is to refute the "self" other than the aggregates, not to consider the aggregates to be the "self". Because other sutras acknowledged by the Hearers say that form, feeling are not self, thought is also not self, the aggregates of formations are also not self, and consciousness is also not self. The meaning here is that the previous sutra, in the unanalyzed conventional truth, shows the "self" established based on the aggregates as the object of clinging to the view of the perishable aggregates, thereby refuting the "self" different from the aggregates. The later sutra, after analyzing it, believes that only in this way can it refute that form, etc. are also "self", and shows that the "self" established based on the aggregates is not born from the object of the view of the perishable aggregates - the aggregates as the proximate cause, if the aggregates are not the proximate cause of the "self", then its result "self" is also not the proximate effect, therefore the "self" will also be separated from form, etc. This is his intention. However, Konchok, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, inverted the meaning of this treatise. In his commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way", he wrote: Therefore, I will impart the key teachings to you. Many in our own school believe that the "self" is the aggregates, and that there is an inexpressible "self", both of which are schools that believe in substantial existence. From the Kashmiri Vaibhashikas to the Svatantrikas, they believe that the aggregates are the basis of imputation for the "self", and that the "self" is nominally existent. The Prasangikas believe that the aggregates are the cause of imputing the "self", but not the basis of imputation and the object to be interpreted for the "self". He wrote down these three differences and established the schools in this way, and when he explained the treatises of the Prasangikas, he said with an arrogant tone that he was serving the teachings of the glorious Sakya school. However, the

Regarding the three, the first view, the disciples of the Sthavira school (གནས་མའི་བུ་པ།) believe that I cannot be said to be one with the aggregates, therefore, they do not consider me to be substantially existent at all. The Mahāsāṃghika (མང་བཀུར།), however, believe that whether or not it is acknowledged in the sect, it is said in this way, so they also accept this view. The second view may be acceptable, but if it is said like the third view, then it is more harmful to the teachings of the Sakya school (ས་སྐྱ་པ།) than the collapse of the Mongol (ཧོར།) king's laws. Because in explaining the view of the Madhyamaka free from extremes (མཐའ་བྲལ་དབུ་མ།), and upholding the views of the masters Nāgārjuna (ཀླུ་སྒྲུབ།,梵文:Nāgārjuna,梵文罗马拟音:Nāgārjuna,汉语字面意思:龙树) and Candrakīrti (ཟླ་གྲགས།,梵文:Candrakīrti,梵文罗马拟音:Candrakīrti,汉语字面意思:月称), these views are refuted. Because in that view, the aggregates such as form are considered to be the basis of the self, that is, the essence, the aggregates are the proximate cause of the self, and the self is the proximate result, this view will be refuted by countless reasons. If someone thinks that this is not established, it is because they do not have the faith, diligence, and wisdom to read the Madhyamaka scriptures. Please carefully read the commentary on the verse "Why is form not self" etc. in the Madhyamakāvatāra Regarding this, the auto-commentary of Madhyamakāvatāra (འཇུག་པ་རྩ་འགྲེལ།) says: "As it is said, how is the self prevented from being in form etc., that is, by this, the self imputed based on the aggregates, which is the object of the view of the perishable collection, is prevented, because it is proper to contemplate it. Why? Because if there is no taker, then what is taken is also not there, therefore, one should also be free from attachment to form etc." The meaning of this passage is that you must learn to understand the meaning of the words of the Madhyamakāvatāra and its commentary. If, according to the uncommon view of the Prāsaṅgika (ཐལ་འགྱུར།), it is said that the aggregates are the cause of the self, then this statement should be abandoned. If you explain that the aggregates are the cause of the self as the view of the Prāsaṅgika, then gather all the black horse riders in Ü-Tsang (དབུས་གཙང༌།), Kham (ཁམས།), and Ngari (མངའ་རིས།), and have them ride horses, wear cloaks, carry musical instruments, and look for a grain of rice! That's what I'm saying. Second, refuting that the collection is the self, and incidentally refuting that the shape is the self. First, the collection is not substantially established, therefore it cannot be a protector etc., third, refuting the defense against this fault. First, when it is said that the aggregates are the self, the collection of the aggregates
