Furthermore, to say things like "other-powered natures exist only conventionally, but not ultimately" indicates a lack of thorough understanding of the ocean of tenets of Madhyamaka and Cittamātra. This is because in all the tenets of Cittamātra, the non-dual wisdom of other-powered natures is considered the ultimate truth, while in all the tenets of Madhyamaka, it is refuted. As it is said: "The consciousness that is free from the grasped and the grasper, its nature exists ultimately." This is from the treatises of the Yogācāra school. The *Sūtra of the Mother of the Ocean* states: "That consciousness, even in the ultimate sense, is not accepted by the wise as existing, because it is devoid of the nature of one and many, like a lotus in the sky." Also, the *Madhyāntavibhāga* states: "The unreal conceptualization exists; in it, the two do not exist; emptiness exists in it; in it, this is also accepted." And the commentary states: "'By nature' is the remainder of the sentence." It also says: "Thus, the two, like a rabbit's horn, do not exist at all. If the unreal, completely conceptualized, exists by nature in the ultimate sense..." Also, in the commentary on the *Triṃśikā*: "Or, like consciousness, some think that the knowable is also a substance, while others think that like the knowable, consciousness also exists only conventionally, but not ultimately. To refute these two extreme views, this treatise was composed." And so on, there are endless explanations. Then, if one thinks that the *Madhyāntavibhāga* says: "The ultimate meaning is unique," which contradicts the statement that other-powered natures and the completely imputed do not exist ultimately, it should be understood that this refers to the ultimate truth that is not the object of the wisdom of noble beings, and not to the ultimate truth that can withstand rational analysis. As the noble Asaṅga said, there are four ultimate truths: the conventional ultimate truth, the rational ultimate truth, the realized ultimate truth, and the ultimate ultimate truth. Therefore, the completely imputed exists only nominally and has no substance; the other-powered nature can withstand rational analysis (225b) and exists as a substance in the ultimate truth, but is not the object of the non-conceptual wisdom of meditative equipoise that transcends the world; and the perfectly established exists in its object, which is the tenet of Cittamātra. Those who say that the completely imputed does not exist even nominally, that the other-powered nature does not exist in the ultimate sense, and that the perfectly established has no substance are

It is well explained that "it is not the final conclusion." Here, Zilong Chokdenpa says, "The Yogacara school does not explain that other-powered nature is unreal," which is unreasonable. In the Differentiation of Dharmata, it says: "Having focused in that way, one enters into the focus on mere consciousness. From the focus on mere consciousness, one enters into not focusing on all things. From not focusing on all things, one enters into not focusing on mere consciousness itself. From not focusing on that, one enters into focusing on the non-difference of the two." And, Dignaga says: "By examples such as illusion, the other-powered nature is fully shown." etc., because these scriptures exist. Although it has been determined that other-powered consciousness is unreal and the conventional is shown to be true, it is said that wisdom itself, the object of the perfectly established, is shown to be the ultimate truth. Saying this is just a pitiful attempt to turn the Mind-Only school into the Madhyamaka school, because those scriptures do not prove it. Because the first scripture shows how the Mind-Only school uses the transcendental non-conceptual fundamental wisdom as an object, and at that time, that non-conceptual fundamental wisdom is also considered to be the other-powered nature of consciousness according to that school's view, so it does not help your view at all. The second scripture says that the other-powered nature of consciousness itself is, due to the influence of habits, the nature of unreal pervasive conceptualization, like an illusion, having the meaning of appearing to exist when it does not, and is explained as the basis of the apprehended and apprehender of pervasive conceptualization. Although such unreal conceptual other-powered nature, like the horses and elephants of illusion, is the deceptive part that creates the illusion of the apprehended and apprehender of pervasive conceptualization, which is the conventional truth, the nature of the other-powered itself is not deceived by the imputation like illusion, so it is considered the ultimate truth. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Like illusion, the unreal pervasive conceptualization is declared. Like the appearance of illusion, similarly, the illusion of duality is declared. Since that does not exist in this, thus it is the ultimate truth. As that is the object, thus it is the conventional truth." Because these scriptures exist. It does not help your view at all.
