I have never heard of this before, it must be due to the power of the times that it suddenly appeared. If destruction exists in things, then the destroyed thing has the end of destruction. Moreover, its destruction is also a thing, therefore, the thing of a single moment of destruction, like the Vaibhashikas believe, must be hypothetically asserted as an infinite number of entities through speculation. Even if we say so, what else is needed besides the false sinful act of changing concepts? Moreover, because destroyed and undestroyed things alternate. Undestroyed things will be interrupted between the cause and effect of before and after. If this is admitted, then the cause and effect of the destroyed things will also be interrupted. If admitted, then in terms of convention, it is impossible to establish the cause and effect of things. Because the categories of cause and effect are different, there will be interruptions, but it is said to be cause and effect, which is just attachment and cannot become cause and effect. If admitted, then what is your result for slandering all causal things? Moreover, the death of the father will also become the cause of the son's birth (198b). Because destruction is the cause of the arising of ignorance after the death of sentient beings. The same is true here. If you admit that, what will happen? Moreover, is the destroyed thing an unborn thing or a born thing? It cannot be a born thing, because it has the nature of destruction. If you think it is not pervasive, then you are a born thing, not a destroyed thing. Because you said it was not pervasive. If admitted, then birth and death are not truly contradictory. Because the destroyed thing has the nature of a thing that is not contradictory to a born thing. Moreover, if it is said that the destroyed thing is an unborn thing, then the destroyed thing, as the subject to be established, is not a thing. Because it is unborn. Moreover, in which of the three times is the destroyed thing established? If it is said to be established in the present and the future, that is not possible. Because the things of the present and the future are in the process of being destroyed and being produced, and destruction interrupts destruction and production, and after destruction, the opportunity for the things of the present and the future is lost. If it is said to be established in the past, that is not possible. Because the past is empty of all functions.

If emptiness is also considered to be real, just like considering the three times to be established as real, if you speak of reality, I have no way to deal with it. Furthermore, if a perished thing can produce a present result, then, subject, it is unreasonable for a perished thing of the future to produce a present result. If a perished, unborn thing does not exist as a thing, but is forcibly established as a real thing, and it is thought that it can arise from it, then it is reasonable that such a thing can also arise, because there is no reason to harm the similarity. If you admit it, then the cause and effect of the producer and the produced do not need to be sequential. Because you admit it. If you admit it, then the order of cause and effect is reversed, and the nature of cause and effect will be completely reversed, so you who have the good intention to uphold the Buddha's teachings, this way of establishing the teachings seems very good. Furthermore, if it is a perished thing, then is it a thing that has perished, or is it a thing that is the opposite of a perished thing? If it is the former, then the perished thing will not perish, or the perished thing will not become a thing. If it is the latter, then such a perished thing, subject, should become an unperished thing. Because it is a thing that is the opposite of the perishing of the unreal. Furthermore, the perished thing that dwells between two unperished things, subject, you cannot be any cause and effect of things. Because before you there is an unperished thing, which is not your cause, and after you there is an unperished thing, which is not your effect. If it is not established, then the perished thing, subject, you cannot be a perished thing. Because both your producing cause and the effect produced by you are unperished things. If it is not pervasive, then your producing cause and the effect produced by you are unperished things, then you are perished and (199b) a perished thing, like making the sound "Bud," beating the great drum of the gods that shakes the three realms, and at the same time raising the great victory banner that completely triumphs over all directions. Furthermore, does the perished thing exist in the perished thing? Or does it exist in the unperished thing? If it is the latter, then the perished thing, subject, should become unperished.
