It happened. Therefore, in the Lankavatara Sutra, it says: All things exist, just as children discriminate. If he sees that and that exists, then everything will be seen correctly. And in the Sixty Stanza Reasoning, it says: If things are truly existent, as children discriminate, then what reason is there for anyone not to desire liberation from that non-thing? (༡༦༥ན) Thus it says. Furthermore, even if worldly valid cognition has seen that, what is the point of still relying on the noble path of hearing and discipline, which are parts of skillful means? If that is the case, what is the point of the noble path of hearing and so forth? Striving there would not have a meaningful result. What is it that worldly eyes and other valid cognitions realize? If one realizes in that way, that alone is sufficient for liberation, so there is no need for any other noble path. Furthermore, if one doubts that worldly valid cognition has seen that, but has not become a noble being because ignorance has not been abandoned, then the intelligence that has become foolish due to ignorance is also not valid cognition, because whatever object is not realized by whatever subject, that is not valid cognition. It is like a non-jeweler not knowing a jewel. Therefore, in the Samadhiraja Sutra, it says: The eye, ear, and nose are also not valid cognitions; the tongue, body, and mind are also not valid cognitions. If these faculties were valid cognitions, then what would the noble path do for anyone? Since these faculties are not valid cognitions, the substance of their nature is unspecified. Therefore, whoever desires the path of nirvana should engage in the activities of the noble path. Thus it says. Some say that this scripture shows that worldly faculties are not valid cognitions, but it is not a scripture that shows that sense consciousnesses are not valid cognitions, because here it separates the basis of substance and valid cognition and shows that it cannot be established. This is a misunderstanding. If that were the case, then the mind there is also not a valid cognition, because the substance is unspecified, as it is said (༡༦༥བ). According to you, that scripture also has the fault of saying that the mind is a substance. We do not accept your distorted clinging in that way. If the consciousnesses of worldly eyes and so forth are renowned as valid cognitions, then if it is said that those arise from the object of form and the co-emergent faculty, then if those natures are unspecified, then the consciousness that takes those as its cause, the valid cognition, the nature of

How can evil deeds have good results? Because the cause is cut off, the result will not arise, this is what he thinks. In terms of words: The great master Tsongkhapa of the East and his followers, as well as most of the later consequentialists who were drawn to his direction, say, "Existing in name like this is enough to be considered existence," and they believe that dependent origination is not separate from the eight extremes such as arising and ceasing; all dharmas in the conventional are with elaboration, so it is enough to be considered with elaboration, but in the ultimate it is separate from elaboration, so it cannot be considered without elaboration; the two truths, emptiness and non-emptiness, conditioned and unconditioned, phenomena and dharma-nature, etc., all two dharmas exist separately in reality; in order to make such existence the end of elaboration, if observed with discriminating mind, then all two truths of dharmas, just like being established by reason and nominal valid cognition, are established as having true meaning without deceiving, these people who rely on inferior words, use the term "examining meaning" to cause confusion to the small-minded; saying that the two dharmas are equality, etc., because it does not conform to the actual situation, so saying it like that, because it is truly established from the perspective of the object, so it must be explained as emptiness equality, thus adding fuel to the fire again. They grasp and acknowledge the definitive meaning scriptures as their own tenets according to the literal meaning, and for all the interpretative meaning scriptures that do not conform to this, whether they are truly established or not, and emptiness, and its opposite, etc., all dharmas, they say that each of their own nature is empty, and there is no self-nature, therefore they say "should be so", because the interpretative meaning is not said according to the literal meaning, if saying emptiness is emptiness, it will become non-empty, therefore feeling doubtful. In short, starting from all the knowable dharmas of the Bhagavan, to the well-spoken pervasive emptiness such as the twenty emptinesses and sixteen emptinesses, although it has been well proclaimed, some people acknowledge it, some people do not acknowledge it, because if acknowledged, it will cause faults to the teacher himself, therefore making a fair judgment on the words of the Sugata. In short, if saying this dharma is "Par", then one must acknowledge the three or four seals that do not violate the teachings, but for the people of this school, no matter which school of the Great or Small Vehicle they follow, it is okay, all dharmas are empty and selfless, and the opposite of this
