I am Nale Sham, as well as the astringency of Arura and Arura, the softness of cotton tree leaves and cotton tree leaves, the essence of butter and butter, all actions (Sanskrit: saṃskāra, Devanagari: संस्कार, Roman transliteration: samskara, literal meaning: action) are impermanent, all that is tainted (Sanskrit: sāsrava, Devanagari: सस्रव, Roman transliteration: sasrava, literal meaning: tainted) is suffering, all dharmas are without self, as well as these, the nature of non-pacification of attachment, hatred, and ignorance, the nature of complete affliction, attachment, hatred, and ignorance, etc., for those before these, also add "also", not different natures, or not easily established as different natures. Wisdom is extremely pure, similarly, the nature of actions and the nature of ultimate truth are also not different, or cannot be established as different natures. From "the realm of actions and the nature of ultimate truth are, the nature of being apart from one and otherness, whoever thinks of one and otherness, those people have not entered properly", because it contradicts what was said. Furthermore, the Ornament of the Sutras says: "Neither existent nor non-existent, nor thus other." The Middle Way Treatise says: "Neither existent nor non-existent, not the nature of different and one." The Differentiation of Dharmata says: "The two are not the same nature, nor are they separate, because there is a difference between existence and non-existence." The Compendium of the Great Vehicle says: "What are these three natures like? Are they different? Or are they not different? It should be said that they are neither different nor not different." The Thirty Verses say: "Therefore, that is other, independent, neither other nor non-other, like impermanence, etc., it is said." Similarly, the Abhidharma Samuccaya and the Compendium of Determining the Indeterminate, as well as Shantipa and others, have repeatedly said that the two truths are not one and different, because you yourselves have already acknowledged that those sutras and treatises are the definitive meaning of the Middle Way, and that those teachers are the valid persons of the Middle Way. The great Shar Tsongkhapa and others believe that the nature of the two truths is one, which also contradicts the previous sutras and treatises as valid, because the Commentary says: "Wisdom is extremely pure, if the nature of actions and"

If the nature of ultimate reality were not distinct, then all children and ordinary beings would also become those who see the truth. Merely being ordinary beings, they would also attain accomplishment and bliss, and the unsurpassed nirvana of peace. They would also fully awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. And so on. Similarly, just as the nature of conditioned phenomena is understood to be the nature of complete defilement, so too the nature of ultimate reality would be understood as the nature of complete defilement. And so on. If, just as there is no distinction between the nature of ultimate reality and the nature of conditioned phenomena in all respects, so too all the natures of conditioned phenomena would become without distinction. How would yogis not completely seek ultimate reality in how they see conditioned phenomena, (143b) how they hear, how they discern, and how they know? And so on. This also contradicts the sutras and treatises cited in many previous examples. Furthermore, if the two truths are of one essence, then since the conventional and the ultimate are the same, all conditioned phenomena would become without distinction and without difference, and so on. If the ultimate and the conventional are the same, then the ultimate would become the fault of being completely defiled. Some say that they are of one essence in the conventional, and some say that they are of different essences in the conventional, but this is also said after analyzing the conventional truth with reason, so it has not gone beyond all the previous faults. Some assert that both truths exist in reality, and say that they cannot be expressed as that or other, and others say that there is no dharma in the two dharmas, such a statement is suitable for the tenets of the naked ones and the Sthavira Nikāya, because they falsely say that they exist without being established in reality, thereby causing others to generate wrong views. In reality, both are established in essence, and if the essence is not one, it must be different, and if it is not different, it must be one, because one and many are mutually exclusive. As it says in the Ornament of the Middle Way: Apart from one and many, an entity with another form is not possible, because these two exist by mutually excluding each other.
