It says, "Creating the earth." So, if the valid cognition that establishes that is not established in one's own system, how does one apprehend selflessness? Regarding this doubt, it is said: This definite speech exists for the world from the perspective of reasons established in oneself, but not for the noble ones. What? Do the noble ones not have reasoning? Who said there is or isn't? The ultimate truth for the noble ones is that they don't say anything, therefore, how could those who do not possess reason and non-reason have elaboration? So it is. Then, when the noble ones are seeking that very reality, if they do not establish the profound reality with the reasoning of conventional phenomena and terminology established by valid cognition, then by what means do they realize it? Although the noble ones do not speak of the reasons for establishing that reality through worldly conventional valid cognition, they realize that reality by accepting how worldly people speak of worldly conventions. As it is said: If the noble ones do not speak of reasons (99a), then how will worldly people realize the ultimate truth? The noble ones do not speak of the reasons of worldly terminology, but in order to make others understand, they accept the reasons that are uniquely famous in the world, and by that, they cause the world to realize it. And so on, in the Clear Words it says: For conventional phenomena, no matter what valid cognition of reasoning and terminology, etc., without being established in one's own system, like that, the proponents of reality extensively establish in their own system, saying that it is unreasonable, did the great Tsongkhapa and his disciples and followers not understand that? Or, is the commentary on that not the speech of glorious Chandrakirti, like the great powerful one not listening to the words of a servant, what is it to throw the meaning of the commentary to dogs and pigs to eat? It seems that one should think about this. In particular, the Svātantrika says that the characteristic of the subject, etc., or that which is established from the way the object abides, and that which is established in that way, the meaning obtained by the valid cognition that is not mistaken in that way is accepted, if it is said like that, then the first great tradition of the Svātantrika is broken.
