Therefore, as for the self-established system based on the two truths, although there is no establishment of what is to be proven and what proves it, the way to express refutation and establishment in accordance with the world in order to eliminate what is posited by others is the system of the Consequentialists. Although there is no what is to be proven and what proves it in the self-established system based on the ultimate truth, the way to express the refutation and establishment with reasonable distinctions to eliminate what is posited by others by establishing what is to be proven and what proves it based on the conventional truth in order to seek it is the system of the Autonomists, so it is taught as the life force. In short, the Consequentialists believe that all conventional objects are empty of functioning there, and there is no valid cognition that establishes them as objects there. If one strives to establish the qualities of objects and their valid cognition, one will not only fall away from the nature of the ultimate truth, but also from the nature of the conventional truth. For the conventional truth is merely established by worldly people who are deluded and attached to it, believing it to be true. When its truth is examined, it is denied that its object is true and that there is valid cognition that establishes it as true in both truths. On the other hand, the Autonomists believe that conventional objects are not established as ultimately valid, and that when conventional phenomena are examined by reason, they acknowledge that its distinctions, such as one moon, have the qualities of objects and are established by valid cognition. For its distinctions, such as two moons, they distinguish that it does not have the power of objects and is not established by valid cognition. Therefore, this system of the Madhyamaka Autonomists has not been able to fully accomplish the intention of the Fully Enlightened Buddha and the great master Nagarjuna. As it says in the Clear Words: You are not skilled in the ultimate and conventional truths, so you arbitrarily (87a) insert reasons, thereby destroying it from what is not reason. I am skilled in properly establishing the conventional truth, so I abide in the aspect of worldly people. The reasons that are established in order to eliminate one aspect of the conventional are refuted by others. Like the elders of the world, only you deviate from the customs of the world, so I will refute you, not the conventional. Therefore, if it is the terminology of worldly people, then its name

It should be like that, and the basis will surely become unharmed, therefore it will become the same fault. It is said. Therefore, the consequentialists believe that if something is established in the conventional by the valid cognition that allows the power of things to enter, then the conventional truth will also become the ultimate truth, so it is not established in that way. However, in name, the teacher only speaks of the conventional arrangement as a temporary basis for acceptance and rejection for those who want liberation, based on mere dependence in accordance with the world. As it says in the Clear Words: Similarly, if analyzed, then things like earth do not have a basis different from hardness, etc., and there is no nature of being without a basis that is different from the basis. Even so, this exists conventionally. Therefore, the teacher establishes establishment through the way of being established by merely depending on each other. This should be accepted without doubt as it is. If it is not so, then is the conventional not in accordance with reason? Therefore (87b) This will become the ultimate truth, not the conventional truth. If analyzed by reason, it is not only things like rabbit horns that are impossible. So what is it? Because of the reason that will be explained, form and feeling, etc., also do not exist. If it is admitted that those are also like rabbit horns, not existing in the conventional, then it is not so, therefore this is not existent. This establishment of dependent imputation is also extensively explained in the Introduction to the Middle Way, and should be sought entirely from there. It is said. Therefore, the consequentialists, regarding the five schools of externalists and the internal heretics, etc., who exaggerate and slander the Dharma of the two truths, saying that they are permanent and temporary, etc., take the innate wisdom of those who speak in this way and what is considered valid in the sect, and what is merely established as valid by the power of acceptance, as the basis for words of refutation and establishment, thereby destroying the flames of those evil wrong views, just like letting the executioner cut off his own life. When refuting and establishing based on such reasoning, the consequentialists only throw out a statement that follows the common acceptance of others in front of the opponent.
