Because you have made many arguments to establish a place where there is no need to laboriously prove a real, self-existent dharma as the basis for establishing the connection of results, but you say that you will establish such a place. So, what fault would there be in applying this to the teacher and making many irrefutable arguments? Because all the faults that this teacher speaks of as harming those who, among the insiders and outsiders, the heretics, acknowledge real dharma as the basis of karma and its results, will fall upon his own wishes; especially since this teacher, in order to fulfill the intention of the great teacher Nāgārjuna, completely refutes that karma and its basis, etc., are established as entities in their own right, and even if they are not so established, he says that the deceptive, false appearance of karma and its basis, etc., is merely established as dependently arising in nature, and he emphasizes this. If this teacher were to laboriously prove that the cessation of karma is established as an entity in its own right, then the teacher Candrakīrti would be establishing the tenets of a proponent of entities, and there would not be even a trace of the flavor of the Madhyamaka. While you are establishing the great teacher Candrakīrti as a great being who upholds the teachings of the Madhyamaka, please do not lead his tenets elsewhere. In short, if others ask the Madhyamikas how they establish the basis of the connection of cause and effect in conventional terms, then, if analyzed, the connection of cause and effect is free from all arising and ceasing, and because it does not contradict the essential point of the meaning, if not analyzed, the result can arise from the cause that has not ceased or has not perished. Such an arising is not harmful to the minds of worldly people, and there is no inconsistency in appearance, because it is recognized in the world, so it is only stated here for the sake of others. Moreover, in that case, the power and ability of the causal actions do not perish, and the explanation that the result ripens from that which has not perished is most reasonably established. This is just the answer that was given, and in the auto-commentary on this, it says: According to which view, karma is not produced by its own nature, according to that view, it is not a cessation that exists, and it is not impossible for a result to arise from that which has not perished, therefore karma does not perish, the connection of karma and result

Because the scriptures say that this explanation is the most reasonable. In response to this, the commentary by Machik states, "It is not annihilation, nor is it non-destruction, and it is impossible for a result to arise from non-destruction." Among them, "It is not annihilation, nor is it non-destruction," with regard to the ultimate truth of these kārya kāraṇa (藏文,कार्य कारण,梵文罗马拟音,kārya kāraṇa,Chinese literal meaning, cause and effect), it is not annihilation, (190b) non-destruction is used for non-affirmation. With regard to the conventional truth of these kārya kāraṇa (藏文,कार्य कारण,梵文罗马拟音,kārya kāraṇa,Chinese literal meaning, cause and effect), it is not annihilation, non-destruction is used for non-affirmation in unexamined appearances, and this should be combined with the specific situation. This statement is also an excellent explanation. If, like you, you believe that in name, a destroyed object arising from a cause can produce a result object, then if this great scholar thought so, how could this commentary say, "It is impossible for a result to arise from destruction, so all kārya (藏文,कार्य,梵文罗马拟音,kārya,Chinese literal meaning, action) are destroyed, and from destruction, the relationship between kārya (藏文,कार्य,梵文罗马拟音,kārya,Chinese literal meaning, action) and kāraṇa (藏文,कारण,梵文罗马拟音,kāraṇa,Chinese literal meaning, cause) is most reasonable?" Because it would not say that. There is no mention of a result arising from the cause of a destroyed object, but you claim that the root commentary says so, which is a false accusation. The meaning of this attachment is that if you do not have the nature of the object that is the basis of the kārya kāraṇa (藏文,कार्य कारण,梵文罗马拟音,kārya kāraṇa,Chinese literal meaning, cause and effect) relationship, then it is impossible for a functional object to exist. Because you cannot tolerate wisdom entering the profound emptiness, you believe that deceptive phenomena such as kārya kāraṇa (藏文,कार्य कारण,梵文罗马拟音,kārya kāraṇa,Chinese literal meaning, cause and effect), from the perspective of what is seen before your eyes, are functional, self-existent objects that can be established by infallible conventional valid cognition. This is entirely due to being controlled by the demon of object-grasping, which cannot be temporarily escaped. This situation is also due to the power of negative karma accumulated in the past. Alas, may all the activities of accumulation and purification that you do from now on become suitable vessels for hearing the Dharma of profound emptiness, (191a) and if you can make correct prayers, it will become a supreme virtuous deed. In short, the cause of virtuous and non-virtuous actions produces the result of happiness and suffering, and the cause of all purification produces the result of samsara and nirvana, etc. These are established from the perspective of the world, without examination, from what is seen before your eyes, up to the post-attainment pure ones of the tenth bhumi. From these causes, results arise.
