La. The so-called valid cognition of convention, if its own nature is not true, is born from artificial causes and conditions, then as the false result of real phenomena, deception will not occur even in convention, because the cause and effect of valid cognition of convention is self-established. The subject (rTags) is promised. The pervasion is established by the world. Didn't Nagarjuna (kLu sgrub) say this long ago? The so-called pervasion is established by the world, which is in the "Small Chapter on Emptiness in Madhyamaka" by Machawa Chenpo Jangchub Tsondu (rma bya ba chen po byang chub brtson 'grus), as it says: Whoever follows the Madhyamaka, and the speech that contradicts it, is promised by the world. If you argue in accordance with the world, then the great master Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti (zla grags), who are undisputed great beings, are only repeating their views. Otherwise, following and contradicting will not be promised anywhere. So it is said. In short, any dharma of existence or non-existence, the Madhyamikas do not establish in their own system, because if they establish and promise in this way, they will fall into the great extremes of permanence and annihilation, which is what the fully enlightened Buddhas and Nagarjuna and his disciples agree with. In the Sutra, it says: What is the Prajnaparamita? There, form is permanent, or form is impermanent, is not found. If even form itself is not found, then how can permanence or impermanence exist? (༡༨༢བ) Similarly, it is also explained up to the Omniscient Wisdom. In the treatise, it says: What is called existence is grasped as permanence. What is called non-existence is seen as annihilation. Therefore, for existence and non-existence, the wise should not abide. Whatever exists by its own nature, because it is not non-existent, it is permanent. Saying that it existed before but does not exist now, therefore it will be seen as annihilation. So it is said. If you promise that things exist, then seeing them as permanent and annihilated will be a fault, because that thing is changing between permanent and impermanent. So on and so forth. Therefore, if the self-system promises that things are permanent and impermanent, what will happen? It will become a promise of either permanence or annihilation in meaning. Moreover, when one promises either existence or non-existence in one's own system, one actually promises both permanence and annihilation. Because whoever promises that a dharma does not exist, that dharma becomes annihilated. If it does not exist, then relying on non-existence, an existing dharma is impossible.

And transform. Such existing things, because they rely on the non-existence of annihilation, are clung to as permanent. Whatever dharma is acknowledged to exist, that dharma becomes permanent, and if it exists, then a non-existent dharma will exist in dependence on it. Such non-existence, because it relies on the existence of permanence, is conceived as annihilation, and those who do not understand this truth are very attached to it. Furthermore, all dharmas from form to omniscience are established by valid cognition, and if it is said that these are not truly established, then both extremes are acknowledged. Dharma (183a) If one acknowledges that they are established by valid cognition without emptying their own nature, then it becomes the extreme of permanence. When these are analyzed, if it is acknowledged that they have become unreal, then it becomes the extreme of annihilation. Whatever exists by its own nature is not non-existent, therefore it is permanent. If it is said that it existed before but does not exist now, then it would be falling into annihilation. Therefore, do not interpret the clear teachings of the Bhagavan and all the treatise writers in a reversed way, and acknowledge the dharmas of existence and non-existence in your own system, and do not abide in the two great extremes of permanence and annihilation. Here, in the song of Jetsun All-Knowing Nyanpa Rechen: In the nature of the two truths, among the two truths of truth and falsehood, the dharma that abides in its own nature, has a nature, and the world and the treatise writers believe in it. From the Mother of the Bhagavan and other scriptures, in the respective truth and falsehood of the two truths, these two true truths, its nature and characteristics, and its own nature cannot tolerate being pointed out. Repeatedly giving instructions. Like this, for something that is not pointed out, who would establish a nature for it? It is also not permissible to establish it there, because by grasping something without a name as a name, I, Repa, find it laughable for a fool with characteristics of elaboration. This supreme nectar of speech should be remembered. Therefore, as it is said, the teacher (183b) Emanates an emanation with an emanation, emanates with the perfection of miraculous powers, that emanation also emanates an emanation, again like emanating another. Similarly, whatever action the doer does, is like the form of an emanation. For example, an emanation emanates another emanation, just like emanating. Afflictions, actions, and bodies, as well as the doer and the results, etc.
