Even when involved, that which appears as true due to the power of dependent origination that is labeled as false is called conventional truth, as stated by the Sage. Among these, the false conventional truths such as reflections of dependent origination are recognized as false even by children. Blue and other colors appear as true, and emptiness of inherent existence does not appear to them without obscuration. Therefore, the ultimate nature and false conventional truths are not conventional truths. Conventional truth is distinguished by afflictive ignorance, which is included in the limbs of existence. If we emphasize the words of the commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way" here, it is clear that the mind that grasps conventional truth is pervasive with afflictive obscurations. The root ignorance that makes conventional truth appear, conventional truth appears to children who have not reversed it. It is clearly explained that the noble ones who have reversed it do not see conventional truth as appearing, because they only see it as conventional. Therefore, saying that grasping at truth is pervasive with afflictive obscurations is definitely not Chandrakirti's view, and hastily and quickly making a conclusion would be too hasty. For Hearers, Solitary Realizers (158b) and Bodhisattvas, who have abandoned afflictive ignorance, for those who see things like formations and images as similar to existence, things that have become like false objects are nature, but not truth, because they do not presume them to be true. For children, it is deceptive. For the noble ones, it becomes merely the conventional truth of dependent origination, like an illusion. That mere conventionality also appears in the subsequent attainment of the noble ones who have objects of experience with appearance, because only ignorance with the characteristic of the obscuration of knowledge is universally practiced. It is not in the state of meditative equipoise, which has objects of experience without appearance, because all elaborations are completely pacified. Here, in ancient documents, it says: In many Madhyamaka scriptures, taking meditative equipoise without appearance as primary, the lower noble ones of the three lower levels, in their subsequent attainment, although they do not grasp at truth, there is an appearance of truth. But the Buddhas have neither grasping at truth nor the appearance of truth, but only the appearance of conventional dependent origination.

According to the view of the great teacher Yerwa, it is unreasonable. For the three lower noble ones, if the conventional appears, it is impossible for the conventional truth to appear. It is pervasive that only the conventional appears. Because the Buddha does not appear to both the conventional truth and only the conventional. Because both are based on ignorance of whether or not they have afflictions, and are dharmas that are opposed to the wisdom (ज्ञान, jñāna, Knowledge). The former says that it is beautiful to have the view that there is conventional (159a) in the realm of the Buddha. It is also a good explanation to state it clearly. In the commentary on the Entering the Middle Way, from "also the hearers and solitary Buddhas" to "not belonging to those who do not have the object of appearance," these noble ones, although they do not have true clinging to the conventional, the conventional is false. Like this clear statement that this is the obscuration of knowledge, Zilong Shakya the Great believes that the subtle true clinging in the continuum of the noble ones is ignorance with afflictions. Saying "therefore it is said" is a sophistry that reverses the meaning of the scriptures from one's own sectarian view. Because if there is subtle true clinging, then the hearers, solitary Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas have abandoned ignorance with afflictions. For those who observe like the existence of manifestations, images, etc., combining what is to be proven and what can be proven, it should be reversed and declared: Hearers, solitary Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas have not abandoned ignorance without afflictions, for those who observe like the existence of manifestations, appearances, etc. If so, according to this system, the author of the text would say: You will become powerful, so your system is completely unworkable. Therefore, the noble Nagarjuna and his disciples, if they do not realize the selflessness of the basis of imputation, aggregates, etc., they cannot realize the selflessness of the imputed person, in this way, true clinging is the root ignorance of samsara (159b). Because of this reason, if it is said to be a noble one, then there is no true clinging in his continuum, therefore saying that true clinging pervades the obscuration of afflictions, then the view of the consequentialists is without fault. Zilong the Virtuous.
